  • MOTHER OF GOD

  • Motorhead doing AC/DC better than AC/DC

  • @MrSetAbominae JHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAH

  • @DrGrotesk AC/DC is the band that inspired Lemmy! THE band that paved the way for soooooo many.

  • @acdc2decore Unfortunately I have to disagree. AC/DC formed in 1973, a year after Lemmy had one of his biggest hits with Hawkwind. The Young brothers moved to Sidney in 1963 during that time Lemmy was with The Motown Sect. In '65 he joined The Rockin' Vickers with whom he toured Europe and had 3 released singles.

Now with all that said AC/DC is the giant on who's shoulders many bands stand today. And since Lemmy has always described his music as r'n'r it makes sense for this tribute

  • O.o did not know lemmy can even get that high sound, was positively suprised

  • MUITO BÃO YES BABY HEHEHEHEHEHE

  • 2 thumbs up!----verrry listenable

  • wth i didnt know motorhead covered this song!? awesome

  • One legend giving to another.

  • Lemmey Kilminster covers all Rock and Roll

  • searching for MrThemike444 coment,,,,,, no response

  • amazing greet

    ANDAZ UZZAL

  • Am suprised. This cover rocks!

  • Can't really make up my mind if his voice is perfect or not for this song. hm. good cover, though.

  • Nice attempt but needs Bon Scott's voice and really needs the bagpipes. It's still good, though.

  • Two of my favorite bands but this cover sux! What was Lemmy thinking?

  • AC/DC are my fav band of all time, Lemmy is fuckin brill and i love this cover! he knew how awsome Bon Scott was both legends ;)

  • SHUT UP AND JUST LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Schneeeeeeblayy

  • SCHOOL OF ROCK!

  • geiles lied

  • GO LEMMY GO! :)

    ACMOT'O'RDC pls......

  • the only band allowed to cover this song

  • @DrGrotesk Allowed? Lemmy is rock'n'roll, himself. ;-) Bon WAS rock'n'roll, it's a pity he is not alive. But who can judge, how would he sound after those years? Lemmy was, Lemmy is. Thanks for this cover, btw.

  • gahaha, i love it! Lemmy did a good job. :)

  • Not the same without Bon and the bagpipes. This is the only cover I've ever heard of this song, and it just doesn't make it with me. To me it isn't a sound just a cocophany of discordant noise.

  • Rockin version but nothing beats Ac/Dc playing their own songs.

  • what the fuck is moterhead

  • @THEGINGERMANLOVE Brilliant. That's what Motorhead f*cking is.

  • @THEGINGERMANLOVE "motÖrhead" if ya please.

  • @THEGINGERMANLOVE shut up... just shut up...

  • Lemmy and Jake E Lee is not motorhead.

  • What was the year of this album cover?

  • Is there any song that hasn't been covered by Motörhead? Heard that one for the first time now. Anyway, that's cool cause Motörhead rules!

  • Lemmy is awesome and all but couldnt have found a better back up band than this local bar band sounding bad 80's cover band? Sounds like a drunk karaoke band....

  • @RicktheTalent2 With Eddie Clark = rockn roll sound, after him= more anonymous metal sound and less inspiring licks, at least to my untrained motorhead ears. But I still like this version, Lemmy carries it and sounds so sincere.

  • these guys make distortion sound right, fucking ledgend, lovin the singers scratchy voice :D

  • @AaronKamakazi As much as you are right, "lovin the SINGERS scratchy voice"?. I'm not gonna go on some crazy asshole rant, just remember that his names Lemmy.

  • What an Awesome cover...... Lemmy`s Bass is so HEAVY!!!!!!

  • Lemmy+rock classic+cover version=instawin :)

  • I'm listening to this on a sub and Lemmy's never bumped that hard. When was this done?

  • I think this is a great tribute to a singer that I am sure Lemmy loves :-)

  • @canericankev Whenever i hear a Motorhead cover, I feel that it's a tribute.

Go, go, go Lemmy, we miss you Bon.

  • ive just listened to the bon version.

  • um lol ok but where the hell is the pipes

  • "...acdc?, motorhead? oh what do they teach in this place?????" school of rock quote

  • Motorhead RULES!!

  • OMG! Who is he? He's god.

  • As far as I know, this version is with Jake E Lee on guitar. Is this right?

  • 00:43 *-*

  • I like a lot of motorhead's stuff, but this didn't do it for me...

  • @peanutbuttereggdirt1 Love the way you left "..." like someone would actually give a shit lol, it's just your opinion dude

  • @adzyb69 oh. i like this attitude

  • lemmy is driving his voice ti its limits here.but still kikcass

  • great cover make the honor to the gods of metal

  • Dva najveća vokala u rocku-Lemi i Bon Skot!Viva hevi!

  • my 2 favourite bands in one

now what about ACDC covering Ace of Spades or something ......... ?

    That would be good

  • Great cover...although I still like better AC/DC's original...the pipes give it a nice effect.

  • MY TWO FAVE BANDS IN ONE. IM SO FUCKING HAPPY!!!!

  • by way rofl by ways ;) nvm, I go for AC/DC sorry guys, but keep on roocking! :D

  • motorhead = metal

  • @daftrab13

    they weren't till the 90's

(and they've been so much better before!)

  • @daftrab13 Motorhead = Rock and Roll (ask Lemmy)

  • fave part in school of rock. jack black-do u guys listen to motor head?? (kids all confsued) AHHHHH WAAT R THEY TEACHING YOU??! haha yeah im being taught this but i listen to other music like new music it doesnt mean i dont respect this stuff really guys

  • motor head and an emo have a battle

emo uses hair flick its not very effective

motorhead use the ace of spades its super effective

emo uses cut self its super effective

    emos defeatged

    motorhead earn 666 exp

  • Better than the dropkick murphys cover!

  • OMFG, That's what I call a killer bass...

  • Good cover but it's not the same without the bagpipes.

  • This is a respectable take on this song. Of course, no one's going to capture it like to boys from down under - it just can't be done... the guitar on this is amazing - holy crap. I see a lot of people have covered this song, more than i thought... the lyrics apply to just about... oh... EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE DAMN INDUSTRY. Who would not want to cover this? And Lemmy knows just how far it is to the top...

  • AC/DC THE BEST EVEEEER \m/

  • @27682728

I'm sorry but I couldn't understand a word of what you wrote o.o

  • Lemmy: The Man, The Myth, The Mole

  • Lemmy is the man

  • Sweet

  • Awesome.

  • just found out that lemmy is what they call god....

  • I love AC/DC for feks sake but at the end of the day, theres only one fucking band you need and thats Motörhead!

  • its sounds really good, but i still prefer the original. AC/DC fan for life \\__//

  • just remember ppl motorhead did this song for the same reason as others do it....because in band folklore it is regarded as the greatest rock song of all time

  • Motorhead is a kick ass band. Lemmy had a very unique voice. I like their sound.

  • @cheevous Check out 1916 and the one right after with "Stand" on it.

  • I deffinatley prefer the ac/dc one, but very nice :D

  • good but just not acadaca

  • AC/DC RULES

  • niceee

  • fucking brilliant!!!

  • fico uma bosta

  • @SmilesForFailure with 20 studio albums, 5 live albums and 8 compilation albums you're saying that they copy too many songs? go learn sth about music please and then make a comment that actually makes sense, and not this new age crap fanboy ideas

  • @zujostix so true

  • @zujostix

I remember when Jack Blak in movie School of Rock ask children do you know Motorhead, and they say no. Then he goes aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh... what are they teaching yout in school this days ;)

  • @zujostix but this is AC/DC song bro

  • @MrThemike444 Yes I know. Your point is? Ever heard of a man called Eric Clapton? Heard of a man called JJ Cale? Clapton is one of the best, but some of his greatest hits were remakes of JJ Cale's originals. That doesn't mean that those remakes suck by default or that he stole them and even less that he doesn't have his original stuff. It means that he made a tribute to another great musician and coincidently the song turned into a hit. Being a fan and being a fanboy are 2 very different things

  • @SmilesForFailure think before you post a comment dude.

  • @SmilesForFailure dude atleast the dot fuck them up!

  • @SmilesForFailure Its called a fucking cover, you cover songs from bands you love, its not copying, learn about music before making retarded comments please...

  • @SmilesForFailure Mega Fail!

  • @SmilesForFailure you asshole i bet your the one who has 62 accounts just to dislike this video and other mototrhead videos....no.1 they had like over 30 albums of their songs....no.2 go home and learn what is the wright music them you can talk to me,asshole...

  • @SmilesForFailure are you like 2 years old.....have you ever heard for cover??

  • @SmilesForFailure You don't know anything about music...

  • @SmilesForFailure then you are ignorant idiot :D

  • @SmilesForFailure They dont copy songs, they make em better. And if you can't handle it, don't listen to motorhead. But check under your bed every night for the wrath of Lemmy

  • @SmilesForFailure the we are smiling of yout failure

  • @SmilesForFailure dude ur fucken stupid get ur shit straight! they have over 400 songs! fucken stupid ass bitch get your shit straight before opening your fucken vagina!

  • @SmilesForFailure Thats the most stupid comment i ever saw on youtube...Sry, but Motörhead has alot of own written songs and just a hand full of coverversions..A little advise from me to you: Learn sth. about the Bands b4 write comments like this

  • @SmilesForFailure STFU LOSER F1ckin Motorhead is great and F1ckin AC/DC RLZ

  • @SmilesForFailure fuck you

  • @SmilesForFailure They only reason I hate your guts is because you're a fucking ignorant bastard.

  • leny is goD!!!

  • @Antonio8slb8 It is "Lemmy" dude...

  • More MadMan Mayhem!

  • WOW! I don;t think I've heard anyone sound more like Bon Scott. Not to mention I LOVE the dirty, grimy tone on his bass when it comes in at 0:42

  • excellent cover

  • To All MOTORHEAD is not a metal band they are and will always be Rock 'N Roll!!! Lemmy says it all the time that MOTORHEAD is not and never was a metal band they are full blown ROCK 'N ROLL!!!!

  • nope it wasn't '88..it was much much earlier, coz bon scott died long time before...it was if i am not too wrond from the album acdc 1974 jailbreak

  • @lotoneroblu Could be. Then again the AC DC version is from 74, but the Motorhead version could be from 88

  • @zujostix 75 to be exactly :)

  • @buffalogreat Thanks

  • @lotoneroblu scott died in 80, alchohalism song off high voltage 1976, though it coulda been on a ep before that!

  • @lotoneroblu It's from TNT in Australia released in 1975, and High Voltage Released Worldwide in 1976.

  • @Fiendishfoe666 It's from 1976 and the album is called High Voltage.

  • @Fiendishfoe666 It's from 1976 and the album is called High Voltage. You were close.

  • @Fiendishfoe666 It is from 1976 and the album is High Voltage.

  • @lotoneroblu the ac/dc version is from the 1976 album high voltage

  • @MrPaintballfreak13 actually that was a compilation of their '74 album "high voltage" and their '75 album T.N.T.

the 76 high voltage was for internatl release, 74 high voltage and TNT were original australian

  • @lotoneroblu i think it was on their 1975 album T.N.T.

  • una delle migliori.........................

  • where does this version come from????!!?!

  • @spittinslim 1988 from what i know. released on "Thunderbolt: A Tribute to AC/DC". only thing for that only lemmy is cited as a performer, not motorhead

  • @zujostix dig.

  • MOTÖRHEAD BRASIL!!!

  • I met Lemmy in 1988!! Backstage at a Houston show with Overkill, Motorhead & Slayer....the only show ever in my life where I actually wished they would turn the volume down a bit! so loud it was literally painful! keep on doin' it Lemmy!!!

  • WOW . . . Dude !

  • motorhead+metallica+AC/DC+slayer+megadeth+every other awesome metal band out there=judgement day for justin bieber, lady gaga, JLS, the wanted, bruno mars...

  • @DaTman4496 U Forgot Iron Maiden

  • la caña,me empalmo!!!

  • I prefer the Murphy's version of this, but it is a personal choice.

That said Lemmy is a god and Motorhead is one of the founders of metal. Of Course most of Motorhead would be considered Rock by todays standards, but so what. It doesn't matter what you call it it is just great music.

  • @orcdoubleax

    Motorhead?

    Considered rock?

I don't know what you're on but I want some of that!

Motorhead is, were and will always be heavy metal, just like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.

ALL HAIL GOOD OLD HEAVY METAL!

  • @pedrohkrx1 Priest, Maiden and especially Sabbath are 100% heavy metal , but there are fundamental differences in their music and Motorhead. As I said Lemmy is one of the fathers of Metal, but he is also a bridge between bands like Blue Cheer, Yardbirds, Zepplin and what we understand as metal today.

This is not a slight or an issult. Lemmy is a god and one of my favorite bands. I listen to a wide range of Hard rock, Punk, Hard Core, And all types of metal.

  • @pedrohkrx1 "We are Motorhead, we play Rock 'n Roll" Lemmy Kilmister after his shows.

    Do you disagree with Lemmy???

  • @Mandator1

    Yes, yes I do.

Just because the lead singer of a band claims that the band is a Rock 'n Roll band it doesn't make them a Rock 'n Roll band..

Imagine if Kurt Cobain said that Nirvana were a Black Metal band.. They wouldn't become a black metal just because he said it..

  • me:mum, my amplifyer is blowed up..

mum: WHAT! how the f*ck did you do that??

me:i only played the intro rif from this song...

  • Oh lord forgive me! @ but if i could even say what fun i was having this year! 1988?..it all seemed so regular at the time LOL...so much partying!...we would have chicks PUKING...then taking a time out to party again!...SLAM DANCING! ..i even once seen a chick crap in a bucket to party some more cuz she couldnt make it to the bathroom! (the rest omitted!)

  • @SlayerCrampsMisfits oh dude i remember 1988. barely got any sleep, always had a tit in my mouth... but then again i was born in 1988 so maybe that's normal.

anyway you seem like a cool cat so check out the forum

  • @zujostix ahahahaha

  • AC/DC ......are the best...without a doubt...but at least you honor this song of theirs...cool...love the guitar,,,

  • when youre voice is so fucked up you can sing anything

  • WICKED!! Huge AC/DC fan...love Motorhead too so this is fantastic... love it!!! :) \m/

  • I think I'm gonna stick with AC/DC

  • It sound like he's on drugs after a big party XXXDDD

  • brian Johnson was in glam rock band geordie but this is defo hard rock

  • lemmy's voice is ..... i don't even have words for it ! it's like a fucking V8 motor or something

  • I have read a quote by Lemmy- "The only band around thats louder than us is AC/DC." I have had the pleasure of seeing both AC/DC and Motorhead in concert and they were both really fucking loud and really fucking incredible. They are in my opinion the two greatest bands ever and both class their music as rock and roll so who gives a shit if one covers the others music . Its gonna kick ass regardless.

  • sorry folks but this is one song lemmy should have left alone his vocals dont do it any justice

  • Yeah! I Fucking love Metal!

  • @jophus9 This isn't metal you dumb, cheesy bastard

  • @airwalkcrazy360 Fuck You, I know acdc isn't Metal, but Motorhead is. So suck it :P

  • @jophus9 A metal band that does a shitty cover of a glam song still isn't metal, dumbshit.

  • @airwalkcrazy360 I guess you're right, but Lemmy's vocals make the song slightly Metal sounding. And that's not a glam song, asshole.

  • @airwalkcrazy360

    "Glam song"

    Go to bed.

  • @LOTFH If you think this is hardcore rock or even metal, you've had your head up your ass since 1979.

  • @airwalkcrazy360

    It's neither. It's Hard Rock.

And where did "1979" come from? The album this track is on was released in 1975. Or were you referring to something else?

  • @airwalkcrazy360 AC/DC WAS AND EVER WILL BE HARDROCK !!

    WTF GLAM ?!

  • @airwalkcrazy360 not hardcore, but this deffinetly qualifies as metal. metals bands today are born from lemmy's spluge

  • It's not bad. But where's the pipes? Bon on the pipes is what made the AC/DC version kick ass.

  • Worst drum sound ever.

  • @Deltidsharmonisk thats how motorhead is suposed too sound like

  • Aye! Where's the feckin pipes!?
