Target there is close and Furnicher for 18"dolls that are cut I really would go there are toys are us but I have not been there but I here it is a little more money than target and not that big of vriity hope you try target first and that my Imfomashon helped also vist my challel I'm going to post a viodeo on how to make a Bed with old boxes ps hope you like your new house and love the dress pps will you make a room tour of your room and your doll room when there done thank you

I TOTALLY agree american girl is over expensive from things I've heard Target, Michaels, Joann's and you can make a bed out of an ag box, cardboard wood or anything your doll can lay flat in that you can find around the house. BTW I subbed!!!

i didn't buy anything for my room i just used boxes for rooms, a jewelry box for a desk (u could use a box), two shoeboxes and a towel for a bed and then i got doll crafts which is really cool. u could make food out of clay

i suggest target but i found a nice doll bed for 5$ at a yard sale so searching at yard sales is a good idea.

And they are all 20.00$. Just a reminder...Don't buy all of those together.

You can also look on Ebay,Amazon,or Crafts.com maybe they have things to give you ideas. Look in the AG catalog and tear or cut out some pictures you really like.

For my AG doll room I used a pillow pet as a bed. They also have some AG stuff at build-a-bear workshop .And some of the clothes there fit too. And I made an AG size CD out off counstruction paper and markers Hope it helps :-)

well wat i did is used wat i had around my house and i made her clothes since every thing is expencise and for her bed i stuffed shirts in a pillowcase made it her pillow used a blanket and an exersize mat and a sheet 4 her to lay on just 4 now till i get more supplise and fo a dresser/night stand i use shoe boxes then decorate it how and what she like and thats her room

how to make a bed without lots of money being wasted;

first, you can get a small blowup thing its actully for swimming but its nice for a bed and it cost 3 dollars. get small cushions or pillows ( i get small ones from walmart for ag dolls it comes with 3 for 2 dollars and make a blanket. i use a rug lol 5 dollars . except the blanket.. lol

make furniture look around, small boxes can be sidetables, take a shoebox and cot out some holes so they can sit at it if you have a big piece of cardboard you can use it as a wall

Walmart has a bed for AG dolls and it is so cute!!! i think target has some doll things.but i suggest that Micheals has the most things for AG dolls and Joann might have some stuff too.

you can make a t.v by, cutting out a card board and paste a picture of a celebirty!!!! I hope it will help alot!!! You can also cut out pics of celebs and making it into mini posters. I made my ag room in a corner of my living room. Make a table by a shoe box. Cloths are expensive from ag, so i ask my mom to make cloths for her. You can also use your barbie dolls and use it as her american girl doll! I hope it can work out!

Cut up picutres from catologs annd print pictures off the internet and put them on the walls around the bed. Small stuffed animals from places like McDonalds make grat toys and pets I know its late but you can always redecorate

Target and Some websites! You can look around oline for sites that sell them because I am not sure what they are all called right this minnute! For furniture, um you can get cheap at target(and LOTS of acceriories!) and any relitives could probablcaly help you build somethings! Hope this helps you! Peace!

I am kinda just like you I'm not really a saver of my money though i am saving up for a HORSE!!!!!! anyway I wouldn't make my dad spend that much money either so that's y i usually make stuff out of cardboard and duck tape and like use the hot glue gun. And you can also get some AG doll clothes at -AC moor-. That have a big selection of AG doll clothes there. And also if you go to -big will- You could maybe find sumthing there because i once found a stove

I would try going to a thrift store - Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc. I've been fortunate to get several beds and things from AG, BUT quite a few of my doll beds and things have come from thrift stores. You'd be surprised how many doll-sized gadgets you can find if you keep your eyes peeled.
