  • People hoses kick each other all the time, people have to remember these were originally WILD animals, as you can see at the end the owner went in and checked on the mini and the bigger pony has a red ribbon to his ail, to notify people that it kicks, so things were handled so shut up, unless you know the full story

  • @1overthehillsfaraway they have a red ribbon on there tail, so people know it kicks..

  • @iaminlovewithbreyers he was fine! read the description!

  • they probally never knew it would happen so dont rat on them

  • The comments on this video are stupid as hell. All I have to say is I hope the pony was not injured from the kick.

  • Did anyone see the red ribbon in the tail of the other horse? Over here that's a sign it's a striking horse...

Anyway, kicking is part of establishing order in the herd, like biting and pushing. If you punish the kicking horse it'll go after the 'protected' horse double next time you're not there, is that what you want? Now the mini at least knows to steer clear from the other one and can still enjoy herdlife. Cheers for the owners for checking up on him immediately ^^ lovely pony

  • @ponyangel1987

That type of cover on the tail was to keep it from getting dirty or messed up. But yes, a red bow does mean a kicking horse.

  • And you put this up on here why?

  • Was clearly an accident....I hated hearing that squeal of pain though.

  • geese hope he was ok

  • so you guys are saying they should have just left the injured horse whilst they shouted at the other horse? fucking hell horses always kick each other, i have photos of my horse kicking another horse, you never know the mini could have bitten the pony or something, so stfu x

  • WAS THAT STUPID OR WAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HEARD THAT SCREAM FROM THE MINI HORSE AND ALL I WANNA SAY IS YOUR A HORRIBLE PERON TO LET THAT HORSE THAT KICKED GET AWAY WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT POOR MINI WHY WOULD YOU EVEN DO THAT..ONE THING FUCK YOU!! SORRY BUT THAT WAS HORRIBLE AND THAT LITTLE SCREAM MADE IT WORSE :(

  • awsome !

  • @jandean61 what that little cutie just got hurt and you said awsome

  • love it how the miniature pony just walks out like whats goinn on?:L

  • whata bitch! ;)

  • :/

  • the horse must just love having that whatever it is tied to the end of its tail.. that is what it was kicking at the mini just happened to be in the way.

  • @ladygreenhawk With what, a child's uninformed opinion, or with the fact that accidents can be prevented, such as this one on the vid here?

  • Comment removed

  • Of COURSE you can have small horses with bigger ones. It's depending on how the horses are, not their sizes. Were I'm riding, they have a miniature horse who's almost 30 together with 2 horses that are 6, and one who's 16. They never hurt her.

  • @imilia483 Not true, ALL horses play and kick up their feet unless they are ready for the grave. Just because you say you see a mini in with horses and "they never hurt her" doesn't mean they can't/won't in the future. That is what all you children on here fail to accept. Even vets have suggested mini's be kept out of harm's way of bigger horses. The mini horse assoc. website also suggests this. How bad would u feel if a mini was kicked and killed, and u could have prevented it but didn't?

  • Why did you put this vid on YouTub? What's the purpose? Are you proud of yourself? Did you enjoy seeing that mini get hurt? You're a low-life!!

  • @idetermined If you think just this vid is bad, check out all the people defending the owners in the comments below! It's pure insanity...no one can grasp that accidents are preventable I guess......

  • that mini is a teaser they are put to togerter so to tease the mare before she goes to the stalion!!! so you should get your facts right beforse you go and give out to me thamk you

  • @cocoilusm I hope you don't have any horses! You're a dumbass!

  • @cocoilusm Only someone inept at keeping horses would do it like that.

  • @cocoilusm Want some aloe for those burns?

  • Why is this video still up when it says Trixiesgirlforevever har no videos?!

  • something about this situation looks fucked up.

  • @1overthehillsfaraway Yeah, the so called owners.

  • wow...shellylanette needs a life...I can't believe every comment through page 4 is from one person. Accidents happen...I don't understand why people get so worked up over a video..this little incident ALREADY HAPPENED. You can't go back and change it, you can't fix what's already been done..so what's the point in arguing and smashing other ppls opinions?

  • @emoheartsJR Prevention from this happening again would be one point I have in mind...but I guess you don't know what that is? Ppl get worked up because many accidents are preventable...THIS could have been avoided but it wasn't. Maybe it will be in the future...

  • @shellylanette some horses get along and some don't. How would the owners have known these two didn't quite get along unless you put them together and watch their behavior? Why prevent something that may or may not happen? Now the owners know that the horse/pony and mini don't see eye to eye (no pun intended) so now the owners can prevent it.

  • @emoheartsJR I can think of a way (or more) to find out if they get along or not without just turning them loose together...but then again, I have years of horse experience and you probably don't. I think that your reply to me just now made Monty Roberts cry! Don't worry, you will learn more in the future about keeping horses...if you try. Do you have any of your own now? "Why prevent something that may or may not happen?" you ask...well, why do ppl use seat-belts and wrap horses legs?

  • @AquaticVampire Yeah, shut up, because there is no such thing as preventing accidents!!! >>sarcastic smile<<

  • @shellylanette yes there is dum ars

  • @thedunthing You are right...what the heck is a fence or a partition...a divider? I have no idea what those are...

If there is nothing people can do to prevent horses kicking one another, then that also means there is no way to stop stallions breeding to whatever mare they want, right? That is infancy thinking...

  • @shellylanette So are you saying we should keep all horses apart at all times?? THAT is just ridiculous. Horses are social animals and need the physical contact with other horses. I'm willing to bet these two get along just fine the vast majority of the time!

  • @sweetsuds91 WOW so you think a fence or partition keeps horses from socializing? I NEVER SAID to keep all horses apart, either. Why are you putting words in my mouth? Did you even think before you typed? Your last sentence sums up your brainpower just fine: what happens when they DO NOT GET ALONG? The mini can easily by killed by a full grown horse. Are you mad? Or just a child that didn't think things through before posting? Vets and even the mini assoc says to keep them apart.

  • @Jayfern12 In nature, horses and minis are not together. There are no minis in the wild. Breeders of minis and horses usually separate them unless they are living blind and don't care to prevent accidents.

  • @HorseLovingFreak Seriously, and a large caliber gun in case the vet can't make it out in time!

  • The comment to end all comments straight off of the AMHA website. is:

"Q. Is it okay to turn my Miniature Horse out with large horses?

    A. Ideally Miniature Horses should share their own pasture. While Miniature Horses have been known to successfully pasture with large horses, doing so adds a real and increased risk to the Miniature. One friendly or not-so-friendly kick or bite from the large horse could significantly injure the Miniature. " "Adds a real and increased risk to the Miniature."

    ☮☮☮

  • PS, if the mini was fine, it would not have been making that face, writhing in pain...are you mad?

  • ahhh poor mini

  • hey that pony is cute!!

  • poor mininaugfhty horse

  • we raise race horses.. and we have like twenty minis and they are always together!

  • that poor little thing):

  • @graciexchannel i ave to tell yhu that by the looks of that video that little pony is a teaser!! they are to get the mare ready for the stallion so its not the peoples fault ..and yes you can put horses and ponies together sure how would they go in the wild .. its only nature

  • @cocoilusm If the person put them together, then how is it NOT the person's fault for not making sure they'd be out of harm's way? Ever heard of a divider? Dim-witted...............

Miniature horses and mustangs are never together in the wild. Miniature horses are never wild, and never have been...can you imagine the predator smorgasbord that would be? They were bred in captivity. It's not nature, your concept of reality is way off, sorry. You really need to think before you flap words about.

  • omg poor little love glad was ok

  • That little horse could have broken teeth or crushed eye orbit or anything dumbass

  • @Musky37373 What do you mean, dumbass? was she supposed to predict it would happen that moment? Just like I think you'd be a dumbass for falling off a horse if it started bucking, even if it was suddden. Just like that was. Mares and minis are put together all the time...they are still horses and while they still get hurt it isn't particularly anyone's fault.

  • @Musky37373 It's not like she(the owner) intended for the pony to get kicked in the face. Obviously things could've gone wrong, but its not anyone fault.

  • @Musky37373 Glad to see other ppl thinking logically, instead of prancing around in all roses-unicorns-glitter land. This poor little horse could have easily been killed with a strike to the head, or even worse, a strike to a leg bone, making it suffer until being put down.

  • @philli1100 Jesus, take it easy. It's not like she's rolling on the ground. She stifled a laugh may it have been a sneeze or a hickup. Even if it was a laugh... Jesus, just calm down. It's not the end of the world.

  • Was he hurt in any way? Horses kick each other a lot, but that sounded pretty bad. But cool it people, horses can take a lot more than you give 'em credit for =)

  • mini's are more dangerous to big horses, than a big horse is to a mini. a mini could kick it in the barrel and damage a big horse's insides and cause internal bleeding

  • @ShelbiSexy So could a normal sized horse, but I think the point of the day is: don't keep animals of large size differences together to protect against unforeseen deadly accidents happening.

  • @shellylanette My 15hh+ gelding was best friends with miniature donkeys and a miniature horse. why don't we just keep all horses separate because any horse could hurt another one and it could be fatal.

  • @ShelbiSexy It's called: "it is more dangerous to a mini if a horse or pony kicks it as opposed to another mini kicking it." DUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRR! Are you that ignorant? Go back to school and learn your physics and biology, maybe anatomy also....If you took time to learn these things you wouldn't take time to post on here, making yourself look dumb for bringing up ONE SIT. ONE TIME WITH A HANDFUL OF ANIMALS as your example of how this is ok. Don't bother to buckle up, u r above that, right?

  • It looked like a complete accident, the pony must have spoked her or somethin and she kicked, I still feel bad tho

  • Awww!!!!

  • he just looks at her like you bitch what did you do that for!? ahahah lmao!!

  • awwww poor little cutie pie hes sooooooooooooooooo cute !!!!!!!! mares can be grumpy some time !!

  • awww >_< poor thing. i'll bet anything that was a mare that got ticked off XD they're so finicky.

  • HES SO FREAKING CUTE! :D

  • Having a mini and a pony/horse in the same paddock is fine, they will act like other horses acts and accidents happen but this was ONE kick, they weren't fighting!

If they would fight obviously you should separate them but for some kicks and bits occasionally there is no need...

My horse used to be in the same pasture with minis and they were half my pony's size and they were best friends always eating together from the same pile of hay.

  • @Andrea901016 Someone once said online about keeping minis with other larger equines: "my vet did it until he personally witnessed one of his prized little minis killed in front of his eyes just while playing with a big horse."

  • -.-' all the people saying that the horse and mini should be separated. It would be crueller to separate them as they are herd animals. Yeah, sometimes they hurt each other but that it's going to happen.

  • @squirttle92 Logical solution: if you are going to keep miniature horses and average sized horses at the same time, get a few of each. Then put them in a divided enclosure so they can still see each other. Minis in one, horses in the other. This way they can have their own herd of fellow similar sized friends, and also even socialize with the animals of different size. Accidental death is best avoided, don't you agree? If not, never wear a seat-belt again, OK?

  • @shellylanette That is a good logical solution. :)

However, if you wish to prevent accidents all together then don't bother having horses - injuries are going to occur no matter what. A mini can still kill another mini by accident. Besides, I know many people who get a mini to provide company for their performance horse. Having two paddocks separating multiple herds just isn't feasible sometimes.

  • @squirttle92 True, horses can all be accident magnets...

  • Little horses are like little dogs = little Monsters...

  • At our riding school we never put back shoes on their feet whenever we let them into the fields incase they kick eachother :) did this horse have shoes on his back feet? :D x

  • gosh, dont be so scared, theyre horses. and sometimes horses kick each other. size doesnt matter

  • @xoxFranziixox OK, you are right...the laws of physics are for losers...size, weight, matter, mass, momentum, force, those things are just imaginary, right? Do me a favor...drop a marble on your head from a foot up. Next, drop a bowling ball on your head from a foot up. Let me know what you think about size mattering then.

  • @shellylanette um, no i wouldn't cuz my head bones aren't as hard those of a horse!! horses are social and robust, doesn't matter what size they are!! and if they kick each other? so what?? it's like kids havin a fight. kicking is normal for horses but i that doesn't mean they kick each other all the time..! It's just their way to say : Back off!

  • @xoxFranziixox You missed what I was even saying! It is not a myth that a horse could kill a mini horse, get real, grow up, and learn to think before you type stuff in here, making YOU look ridiculous! It does matter what size they are; you are an infant to think otherwise. Why do you think you cannot breed a pony mare with a draft stallion? Too big of baby, the mare would die. Same thing with kicking each other in the pasture. Bigger horses kick harder and faster, smaller ones are fragile.

  • @shellylanetteok bubblehead! now listen! this was a pony kickin a mini horse! i get it was/ could have been seriuosly dangerous! but i commented because i was sick of guys sayin that horses in general kickin each other is dangerous. and by the way the minihorse couldve avoided the sitiation in not coming from the back, cuz the pony'sdominant here!!and the diffirence between a pony and a minihorse is not that big in here. i totally wouldve got ur point if there would have been a horse not a pony

  • @xoxFranziixox bubblehead: I am shellylanette, not shellylanetteok

The "pony" here isn't all that small, it looks more like arab size. Didn't seeing that mini writhing in pain after the kick make you get my point enough as it is? JEEZ, it's like you people have no concept of what a preventable accident is, honestly! I hope this mini doesn't get hurt, but chances are it will if it's not separated. Why not get another mini for it to play with instead!

  • @xoxFranziixox Excuse me, but I still haven't stopped laughing from the bubblehead shellylanetteok thing you actually typed in here! R O F L L M A O I feel like having someone like Gordon Ramsay come tear you a new one while I cry laughing as you can't come up with a valid comeback...

☯☮♘ Here, amuse yourself by trying to figure out how I did that; it will probably take you a couple years LMAO!

  • @shellylanette whatever, love you too honey :)

  • @xoxFranziixox LOL I'm sure you do, darlin'!!!

  • ouchy u heard tht connect im glad evryone is okay horses r so weird sometimes wen they kick theyr buddy

  • awww the pony if sooo cute awww the pony scream sooo sad :'(

  • Its not your fault (:

But it was so sad when i heard the pony scream ): It broke my heart.

So good that he's fine :D

  • Was He/She Ok ?

  • I have a pony that is10.2h (5yrs old and gelded @4yrs) and a gelding that is 15.3h and 16yrs old. That pony gives our poor old man hell! But they love each other dearly. Our big guy lets the pony know when he's had enough and they both stay in good shape! They would be lost with out one another.

  • lol aww, poor thing! <3

  • Call McDonald's we have some premium meat headed their way!

  • Aww,poor tiny horsie.Glad to know he's better though.

  • omg the squeal broke my heart :[

  • did you hear him i bout died wen i heard him!!!!!

  • poor thing :(

  • you really need a better fence.

that's is the only bad thing I see, the pony's are looking great. and of course, big and small can be together. most of the time , the biggest and smallest are the best friends

  • @JetXBigBrown I was thinking the same about the fence. The ponies themselves look good.

  • DAYYUMM LOOK AT THAT HORSE POWER!

  • All your comments make me laugh, hahahah :-)

  • I'm not sure why you put a mini and a horse in the same field since minis can get really hurt from a 15hh horse. Our minis and horses at work are pasture separately to keep the minis from getting hurt. Just to let every one else know a mini is not a pony. Minis are usually under 38 inches (10hh). Ponies are under 14.2hh and larger than 10hh.

  • @robinyoung71 To fix some mistakes you made in your mini explanation, it isn't size that makes them different because shetland Ponies can very well go below 38 inches, it's their origin. Minis were literally bred down from horses (with some ponies in the mix to help get things small). Ponies are different in many aspects from a horse but very similar as well but they aren't the same whatsoever. Just saying that size isn't what makes the difference, it is Personality and physical attributes.

  • @numberonehorse Not sure what you are getting at: both minis and ponies came from horses. Horses can be smaller than 14.2 and ponies can be taller, also. I don't think you understood what robinyoung71 said. I think we all realize the diff. between mini, pony, and horse, but ty anyway for the explanation. The point here is that a mini is too small to be safely kept with a larger pony or horse.

  • Jeśli bym miała coś takiego [Niewiem co to jest to na ogonie] na ogonie to też bym tak zrobiła . .. A i nietrzymała bym takiego malutkiego kucyka z końmi bo to groźi niebezpieczeństwem kazdy dobrze wie ze przewaznie duze KONIE nie lubią małych kucyków ....!!!!!

  • i think he was winded the poor little thing. I'm sure he's fine now.

  • Bless it, all sulking after the horse trots off :3

  • Actully it´s totaly fine to put a small horse with a bigger, a small horse is smaller but can deffend it self really good.

A big horse kick to the body and bite on the boddy on the smaller horse, but a smaller horse kick on more sensitive parts on the bigger horse, an example is the legs=)

  • Awwww that poor thing!

  • Your an idiot! You don't put a horse in with a mini horse, they don't realize their size difference... Common sense horse people!

  • @GraciexChannel umm you can put horses and pnies together... were i ride they use to have a 17hh horse with a 9hh pony... and they never hurt eachother...the horse that kicked might have been a mare.. and mares kick alot.. im not saying this to be bitchy or anything but theres nothing wrong with putting horses and ponies together (:

  • @BabyDollAmy13 Doesn't this video prove what you just said to be wrong? Same with dogs; some ppl can keep Great Danes with Dachshunds and never have a problem, but that doesn't mean that the bigger dog couldn't ACCIDENTALLY injure the little weiner dog worse than another weiner dog could have done just by playing, right?!?!

  • @shellylanette i agree with you.. ofcourse the bigger animal may accidentally injure the smaller one, but its still no reason to keep them apart.. if the animals enjoy eachothers company why not have them together.. and if they hate eachother its just stupid to put them in the same yard..

  • @BabyDollAmy13 That IS THE REASON, the bigger animal may accidentally injure the smaller one TO DEATH...all on accident! Don't you wear a seat-belt? Don't you wrap your horses legs before trailering them? They could still enjoy each others company next to each other but divided by a fence or something, right? One of my horses liked a chicken I had, and they hung out, but too many times the horse almost accidentally squished Mrs. Hen, so they were kept next to each other, separated. Why disagree?

  • @BabyDollAmy13 I thought you had a horse and a mini, not a pony and a horse, anyway? It doesn't matter if you saw it work this one time with this one situation at the one stable with these two animals....etc...wow is all I can say about this. That's like saying walking a tight rope with no net isn't dangerous because you've seen it done before and it turned out OK.

  • @shellylanette like you just said with this ONE situation with these Two animals.. doesnt mean EVERY horse and mini can be put in the same paddock.. besides its looks like a PONY and a MINI... not a horse and a mini..

  • Tumbs up if you think this shellylanette is an ass ;)

  • @BabyDollAmy13 In what way am I an ass? For pointing out facts? How is that an ass?

  • @shellylanette your pointing out unnecessary facts...

  • @GraciexChannel we have put our percherons in with our mini's for over four years n never have they been hurt by the bigger horses so explain that.

  • @cactusrash69 you'll learn one day because its only a matter of time before you're mini gets a serious injury. If you loved your mini's you wouldnt risk it.

  • @Jessle1000 animals are going to hurt each other time to time

  • @Jessle1000 our bigger horses wouldnt hurt them, they stick close to the mini's and protect them at night from cougars n wolves, if they were gonna decide to hurt them it would have happened by now.

  • @cactusrash69 WOOOW you actually keep your minis outside where there are known cougars and wolves? You must be the equestrian of the year, right?

  • @shellylanette ya we do and not once have we had any kind of trouble, they come close they get shot if they come at night the bigger horses bring them up to the house.i dont see a problem there. and the sarcastic ass comment at the end there make you sound like a know it all snob who has never actually lived on a farm, stupid city girls.

  • @cactusrash69 BTW, you have no idea what you are talking about. The problem is: some people don't understand the concept of preventing accidents.

  • @shellylanette well if oneever happens i will let you know until then just shut up and quit nagging on every comment you see on here, thanks have a good day :)

  • @GraciexChannel We have a 11 hand pony in with a 16.3 hand paint and they are best friends...the pony actually bosses the paint around. so it's completely fine. It all depends on the horse's personality and how they interact with each other that determines if 2 or more horses can be housed together. The other paint can't be in with the pony because he runs Charlie(pony) like he's penning a cow. They say if you only want one horse get a mini so it has a friend.

  • @GraciexChannel u should get some before u post these dumb ass comments.

  • @JadeM103 Why is getting some on your mind? Because you personally are not satisfied?

  • @GraciexChannel well 1. do u ride

    2. do u have any common sence of and about horses

and3.one of the horses in my riding school have a mini horse as a bestie

  • @billyforever100 lol that sounds like u r about 8 years old.

  • @shellylanette well sorry if ur guess is wrong

  • @billyforever100 Well sorry if you just had your >>holds up four fingers<< birthday, gosh! LMAO

  • POOR PONY!!!!!

  • @Superrwham what makes you say that? It's hard to get a good look here but it could well be a miniature horse not a miniature pony. Mini horses are finer than the chunkier miniature ponies.

  • Ooop she said he.. I'm wrong! Pfft

  • Probably both mares maybe new to each other.. Oh but that squeal gives me shivers!

  • He's like - B*TCH. Kick her back please!

  • That noise >.<

  • why did she kick him

  • I know they get hurt all the time, a friend of mine's mini leg got kicked and his leg snapped completely in half, he had to be put down too :(

  • Not trying to be rude, but never ever put a mini in with a horse! It is extremely dangerous! I know someone who had to put their mini down because the horse kicked him.

  • @Luv2Laugh432 i wouldnt say never ever cuz my friends horse and pony live in a pasture with a mini and they get along fine. All I`m saying is that it`s not EXTREMELY dangerous and that they can get along fine :)

  • he was probably a teaser pony to bring her into heat

  • @pissondis LOL ... no but teasers are not miniatures ... I think it was that frill stuck/taped accidentally I presume to her tail ...

  • @pissondis attention: Genius sta
