I should have. I didn't look at the surrounds when I started and went with my normal beginning formula. I figured there would be more land nearby. At least I picked up some clippings and I'll be able to plant a forest. Sustainable development.

You should have only made a wooden pickaxe to mine some stone, so you could have made stone things and save wood :) But I enjoy your misfortune :D!
