Get to see much of SMG's performance as Kendall, so I cannot give a fully accurate judgment. Also, I have many issues separating SMG from Buffy, so whenever I looked at SMG's Kendall I saw a brunette version of Buffy, who was also a considerably more screwed up and evil person. I will admit, seeing Sarah Michelle Gellar as Kendall as warped my opinion of Alicia Minshew's portrayal of her since I didn't wach All My Children in Sarah's days BUT I think Alicia has made the role her own in some ways. Granted, Sarah gives a great performance as Kendall in all the clips I've seen but I do believe that Alicia grew into the role in time and has given a great performance as well. Sarah herself congradulated Alicia for getting the role AND doing a great job.

I'm an AMC fan stemming from the 90s and I must say my thoughts have been mirrored: Minshew is a hair model when it comes to SMG. OMG, that's exactly what I thought the first time I saw her...! But, the 90s (I have to remember) were larger than life, so that's what makes AMC so amazing: SMG's stint as Kendall Hart, bastard daughter of notorious Erica Kane!!!

Talk about classic clips. SMG was great as Kendall. No Alisha, but good. I'd forgotten just how wooden the men on AMC were even then, especially Del and Anton. But working on AMC together got Anton a job on Buffy years later, as Dracula.
I know right. Y&R wasn't great this year, but the episodes featuring Sabrina's death were when the show started to get good again. AMC, DAYS, or B&B had nothing on Y&R when Katherine Chancellor was presumed dead.
Y&R did the right thing with firing Lynn Marie Latham. My friend, who watch the show, said it was just awful when she head wrote it and that the new head writer, Maria Arena Bell, has made huge improvements to the show.
I love the actress who plays Katherine, Jeanne Cooper. Her acceptance speech, at last year's Emmys, was one of the funniest I have ever heard. Loved when she said, "all departments-we are the lousiest. But we are still number one!" LMAO
@cajayson8301 SMG had a lot more issues going on with a couple of her costars that made her appear to be a diva, but she had valid reasons for almost everyway she acted during that point in time. You also have to take the age factor into account. When Minshew was brought on, she was a good bit older and more mature than SMG was when she was hired in.
@tristaholmes8086 From what I've heard with SMG misbehaving on the AMC set, none of them sound like valid reasons. I understand she had an absentee father but guess what-so did I...that's no excuse. I've also heard she was difficult to work with on the Buffey set, this being at a time once she's progressed past the adolescent/very young adult years.
@cajayson8301 she was hard to work with on the Buffy set because she was stickler for safety on set, and they weren't very cautious about some things. Also, she wasn't really there to make friends, she was there to get a job done.
I was obsessed with Sarah as Sydney Rutledge on "Swan's Crossing" and as Kendall! P.S....Anton was Smokin' hot!!!
