I just bought Transistor now couple days ago and I can't believe how great album it is! Nearly every song is a masterpiece. The only song that didn't completely blow me away was Tune In, which isn't bad either. Best album i've bought in years.
i think transistor is their best album. they had huge commercial success with the blue album, so they had a lot of leverage as far as doing what they wanted when it came to transistor. they had a few radio hits(prisoner, beautiful disaster) but like you said, the album is a masterpiece. stealing happy hours and inner light spectrum are my favorites.
You are too modest. You're intonation is near perfect, if not perfect. You must set your standards pretty damn high. I'm guessing you've played bass a while, no?
Yeah!!! Thanks for the upload, would have been good to see what frets etc you were using. Is there any chance of you uploading the song by itself. I love that song man. Thanks again.
Damn Man.. very nice i love your taste. 311 all the way.. along with warwick!! I could have sworn that he used a crazy effect, I didn't think he used a fretless
yeah, i've actually played this bass in a guitar center recently. and i think i did have it set up w/ the bridge p/u only. sweet sound. i may need to get one, thanks to this video, cheers.
yeah don't worry about your intonation...it's fine. This is one of my favorite songs, thanks for putting it up. I always thought this song might be a bit hard to play because of the time sig changing and such but you make it look easy. ;)
My god dude...not only was your tone great, but the bass is amazing. How can you afford stuff like that? It took me forever to save up just for a Fender H1 P-Bass...
I just troll for really good deals on used stuff and bite when I find them. When I bought this, the guy upgraded the electronics to active, but I gutted them and put the originals back in. I'm in the process of selling them, so when it's all done I'll have spent around $400 for the bass :p And it's mint! I got the deal of a century on my thumb too... only spent about $600 on that :D
This is ridiculous
