There's no real 'coming-of-age' ceremony in American culture. There are some traditions for people who turn 21 (lots of drinking) but it all depends on what culture you're raised in. Things would be a bit different if the immigrants from 100-200 years ago would have kept most of their cultural heritage instead of trying to fit in with the rest of the settlers here.

Our coming of age is when we turn 18 and we celebrate it by doing absolutely nothing yay!!! :)
