@Vaynalli check her EX Burst in the menu after selecting her, they bluntly tell you the correct order to use her spells for it, I just use Auto EX Burst command honestly >.>

They do provide some insight as to how odd of a protagonist choice Squeenix has been doing nowadays, as FF10 and 12's protagonists can be considered the... sidekicks moreso then the actual main characters. I mean, think about FF10 for a moment. What's Tidus goal in all of it? He's in love with the girl who'll save the world from Sin and hates his daddy. What about Vaan? He's a streetrat kid who gets stuck on someone else's adventures.

@pladen300 You need to finish all destiny odysseys to unlock their main quests. (Not all for Shantotto, I think it's 5 for her... Oh well..And Shade Impulse must be cleared for Gabranth... Anyway, clear everything in story mode xD!)

But, be prepared. Have a lvl 100 character cause the manikins are mid-60 and mid-70 for the odysseys. Have fun!

Both the sky pirate and the princess are far more intertwined in the whole story whereas Vaan acts more like a spectator, sharing the same odd fate as a previous FF protagonist (Tidus). In both their cases, they're just in for the ride and their own personal goals which are nowhere near as heroic or world-changing and important as the supposed side-characters who wind up far more important then he.

He feels more optional.
