Im latina and I am voting for Ron Paul! my parents came here legal and so should everyone else. Its a messy situation but for the benefit of all its something that needs to be addressed. I think immigration is the last thing on his mind right now. His first concern is to get this economy up and running, give the power back to the people, by then I believe we can take our time and figure this mess out. RON PAUL 2012

The immigration problem is basically do nothing but clamp down on the current regulations. Make sure businesses verify legality of employees. But also, no benefits to trespassers.. that's ridiculous. Sneak over the border have a kid and now there's a citizen in the family? what? no!
Even if we don't change any other laws but mandating employment eligibility verification.. and enforce it there will be no jobs for them and the problem will work itself out. slowly... great for economy
There is a tendency for people to be attracted to RP and assume that he holds reasonable views on immigration. He doesn't. He ought to be known as Dr. Amnesty. He's the worst GOP candidate on this issue. I was quite disappointed myself. Read about his positions and track record on Numbers USA.
IMHO, the immigration compromise should ultimately be to allow for citizenship in the future (for established, long term residents) but end birthright citizenship to non-citizen parents. And definitely no chain migration!
