I will need a paper to write everything the guy is saying and then read it ... that's like memorizing all the lecture, it's kind of stupid :S speaking should be about your capacity of express yourself, the should give a general topic and let us say what we think

@blankita1525 but in the toefl you willn´t have time to write anything , only you will have your answer papar and the one with the questions , and you can´t write anything, only the aswers.

I think this is a tough test. I listened to it for fun and I had trouble understanding and answering in the time alloted. IF I had to take this, I would be in trouble.

the exam is meant for ALL subject matters, so they cannot just ask about one subject. they have to know that you are able to respond and interact in all situations

do they really show those images while the voice is speaking? they help me a lot understanding what they are exactly speaking about...

am i allowed to take a pen and a sheet of paper with me? would be cool to note some words, that i know but that would never come to my mind when i have to talk.

This Toefl isn't about English, is about memorizing! I believe even an American can not give such a good answer with just 20 seconds of preparation! It's impossible!:(

I totally support your opinion.I think they have discriminatory attitudes towards us restraing from higher studies.They want a full fledge professor FROM non english speaking countries.I am an civil engineer and instead of polishing my professional skills i m mastering this stupid kind of exam.Furthermore. the questions are totally illegocal."WHO IS UR FAVOURITE MUSIC COMPOSER..................."r u kidding me i dont care about composesr even music n u r asking abt such things.WHAT THE HELL
