  • 3.33 100 % live "catching my every fall"

  • SHE SAID I'VE BEEN BLACK AND WHITE!!!! ME TOO MARIAH!!!!

  • shes singing live Haters & you just cant take ..if you only have shit to talk look at yourself whats so Great About you ,Mariah is Great

  • this performance is incredible! and people need to stop bashing her for sometimes lip syncing...when your sick or have a soar throat what else are you supposed to do??you can't just cancel a concert! and i went to her angels advocate tour and she was phenomenal..

  • @singerinthemakin1 this wasn't lipped if you thought ss lol.

and you are right by the way if you gotta lip you gotta lip.

  • love this song...so pretty,so beautiful like is owner

  • Completely effortless! So amazing xD

  • i don´t know why everyone says she lost her voice, obviously she doesn´t sing the same as her first album or emotions, but it´s a great voice still, and this proves, and we have to think about that so much pop singers lose their voice

  • Because recently she's had some "bad" performances, but her voice changes year to year. I don't think it is gone very much to the bad. In rainbow-era she had weaker voice than for example now. So her voice strenghtens time to time..

  • shes lipsynching the final belting part. That is why people say she lost her voice. Because she has to lipsynch the harder parts of her songs. She is a studio singer now.

  • Hardly

  • Nope. If you would know anything about vocal health you would understand. Since you dont, you deny it.

  • I dont really think you are authorised to say to me that i dont know anything about vocal health, clearly have not seen my videos.

My is not a studio singer as she is able to replicate studio notes and beyond.

  • I think I am since you clearly think that she can sing songs that are way more difficult then the 90s. She is not able to replicate the studio notes. MC is using protools now, she records the harder parts in a lower key and in parts, and the engineer raises the key and put them together. That is why for example she lipsynched the whole final part of I Stay in Love at the AMAs. So again, if you would know anything about vocal health you would understand it and evidently you dont.

  • Did i every say that she can sing Vision Of Love for example as good as in 1990? No. Don't put words in my mouth i didnt say. All of I Stay In Love was live, you could hear her breathing in the mic and somne of her body movements coincided with her singing the notes, such as when her arm tenses when she belts the F5. Plus, its an awards show for MUSIC, meaning you cant lip, you would need a very big excuse to lip-sync on a music awards show.

  • You are quite naive, calvin. Im not putting words in your mouth. You didnt understand what I was trying to say. What I said is that all of her songs from CB until now are way more difficult to sing than her oldest songs. About the I stay in love, let me tell you that breathing can be recorded as well. Aside from that, I repeat this to you, Mariah has nodules, that is a condition that produces frequent vocal breaks and reduces the range. You think because is an award show she cant lip?

  • It was not a case of me not understanding, i understood what you wrote, except you didnt explain ourself well enough. It was obvious that I Stay In Love was live. There were cracks in her voice which are not present on the studio track. I am fully aware of Mariah's Vocal Nodules, and you are wrong in assuming that it reduces range, because her range has not been affected, it is just the quality of the range which is affected. Her complete range from 2005-08 was G#2-F#7.

  • You need to open your eyes an ears and see reality. Mariah also lipped at the Grammy awards. And on Oprah, Ellen, American Idol, etc etc. Since she has a condition she needs to save a preserve her voice for future recordings. When she sings completely live she sounds like she did on the MJ Memorial. Get it?

  • WBT/FLAB was not lipped at Grammys, she couldnt hold some of the notes and she was not as fluid. American was all live, completely different to Studio. At MJ's memorial, you could visibly see that she was upset, and when your upset, you can bearly talk, yet alone sing. If Mariah gives a bad perf. or lips, i am the first to say, but i also praise her when she delivers a good performance aswell. Im not tunnel-visioned with her.

  • THe Grammy performance was lipped on the difficult parts. Such as the ending of WBT, she only sang the final note and that is evident. On FLAB she lipped almost all the ending. At the MJ memorial thats the excuse she used. She sounded just as bad at the Mimi tour, so what? Was MJ also there? The final part of ISIL at AMAs is edited, they used the album track and modified it to make it sound a little bit different.

  • It was all live because the quality of her vocals were not as good and she was not as sharp, and the C5 went wrong. She has never sung FLAB in the original key, ever, and it varies how high she belts on that song after the first super head note. She didnt sound that bad on TAOM, if anything her belting worse in 1993 on the Music Box Tour, with one E5. She always sings with back in track now, something i wish she would not do to such an extent.

  • Sometimes she also uses flawed track that didnt make it to the album trying to fool the public. Also different editing. Aside from that, you actually think that this is bashing her because you took this defensive stand. This is not bashing because I am actually a fan of her since day one. I am just pointing out the reality of her condition. And makes me really angry that she tries to fool us all with a voice that she no longer has.

  • @nicevidbro What do you have to say about the VOL peformance this very same night? Isn't that song completely live and as difficult if not more difficult than this one?

  • I was on the Las Vegas concert the other day. And she lipped exactly the same parts she always does. I remember watching her singing Subtle Invitation and the ending was completely lipsynched just like she did in the CB tour which I also went to. Same on WBT all the ending was lipped. Same SIO, she lipped the belting. She sings the easy parts and only dares to belt a few notes. Like she did on Touch my body and she sounded strained and worn out. NODULES!

  • Everyone else who are vocal experts are saying how well her voice has recovered from last year. I doubt they are wrong.

  • What experts? Mariahdaily? You need to stop reading that website.

  • mariahdaily are not vocal experts, quite obviously. they just post information about what she is doing and where she is.

  • Im done with arguing. You cannot see it so think whatever you like. Have a nice day.

  • Nicevidbro, why do say everything is lipped? I agree WBT was lipped at some parts in the grammys, which is obvious. But sometimes I think you go too far with some of your statements.

  • Conner, I do not go too far, I just point out the performances where she actually lipsynchs. I do understand that some people cannot notice it and some can, and some can notice it more than others. I do notice everey bit of lipsynch on her. As I said, she needs to preserve her voice because due to the nodules she has her voice has become completely fragil. Look what happened on the Mimi tour. When she sang Make it Happen or Vision of Love I thought she was going to pass out.

  • She has been lipsynching since 99-2000. On the Butterfly tour there was some backtracks but it was not something eccesive like she does now. For example, the only time she sang WBT completely live was on BET Blueprint, and she recorded it 3 times and in parts, I was there. And that day her voice was not as bad as it is now or the Mimi tour.

  • @nicevidbro she already lipsynched some tv performances in 1994...

  • @furacarles1 What performances were those?

  • @musicguy713 i think she lipped without you at the end of 1994 but i think it was the first time, and she probably did it for a reason. and she lipped a little in daydream era.

  • @nicevidbro omg you were on the BET blueprint? did she sang live on the shake it off ending? how was it? cause there is only the first 27 seconds of it... bitches didn't put it on the show lol...

  • You actually make a great point to this idiot who calls himself "nicevidbro". The AMA performance of I stay in love is all live becasue you can easily tell when mariah is lipping or not. I dont think its possible to completely change notes in the studio! Hes delusional, and people like you and i know what were talking about. The point is, 10+ years ago mariah could completely lip a song and people would still say its live. Look at the ending of One sweet day at MSG in 95! The adlibs are lipped.

  • @roniandcheese18 nothing was lipped on MSG, it was dubbed though. she lipped one sweet day in 1995 with boyz 2 men though but not in MSG...

  • how the fuck would you know if mariah "used protools now"? Youre delusional to think that. You obviously dont know shit if you think MARIAH CAREY would do something that embarassing as that infront of her label? MARIAH DOES NOT USE PROTOOLS. when she is well rested she sings just the same if not better than before. Get your facts straight "nicevidbro". You seem like a complete idiot right now and calvin999999999 has never been less than fantastic to youtube. Back your shit up or else shut up.

  • I strongly doubt that you might have any knowledge on what Im talking about here.

    "shit, shit shit shit"

    Nice vocabulary, though...What a stereotype...
