dogs are clearly smarter than cats. while of course the smartest cats are smarter than the dumbest dogs by a little bit, the smartest dogs are vastly smarter than even the most intelligent cats. The "cats are smarter" crowd typically rationalize the "dogs can do tricks" argument by saying that cats are "independent" and don't care, so it's ironic that you use these extremely simplistic tricks (still impressive for a cat, though) as evidence for your cat being smarter than any given dog.

thats a really smart cat but im not being mean but my 7 month old puppy learned sit liedown paw speak and chase and come in 2 days
