  • damn, he's still got it! just shows how crucial your lower body is in pitching

  • Nolan Ryan throws his age.

  • very good!!! by japan boy

  • Dang just because nolan ryan was amazingly good. does not me he used roids. But as in roids you mean hardwork and dedication then yeahhe used a shitload of roids to be one of the greatest picthes in mlb history

  • i wanna have a pitching session with this man

  • maybe he could have closed out game 6...

  • One of the greatest, but what a grumpy ass in the world series. Does he ever smile. Your at the World series for god sake, cant you look happy once??? Oh only when texas scores.......whatever

  • Here's an interesting fact: Nolan Ryan played for each of the original four MLB expansion franchises: Mets, Angels, Astros, and Rangers.

  • @Edgehead10075 he is also the first, big four, million dollar athlete.....NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, nobody before him.

  • I'm rooting for the Rangers. That was a great comeback last night.

  • Damn he can't throw anymore.

  • Nolan Ryan did steroids. Like many pitchers. U don't put on 15 pounds of muscle and start throwing no hitters again at the apex of the steroid era over 40 and not be on shit. Ditto Schilling and Clemens. I know - such sacrilidge! Only Barry Bonds and Mark Nacquire juiced right? no pitchers.... how ignorant

  • @aitraining Shut up faggot! He did not juice, my friend's dad knew him personally, and yup, no roids. Do not talk shit about God like that!

  • Pudddggeee.. I thought that was cool to bring him back for this.

Nolan: What else is there to say that people haven't said on here or elsewhere. He was without a doubt a great and classy player, and I'm proud to have someone like him as owner of the Texas Rangers

  • Shoud've won last year such BS beaten by a team that will never go back.

  • He could strike out the whole Royals team if you ask me...

  • anyone else remember the fight when nolan ryan spinebustered robin ventura?

  • Watching game 5 through tears of joy, when the outcome was a foregone conclusion, I swear I could read Nolan Ryan's lips. The camera cut to him and through pursed lips and struggling to keep his composure he told Dubya he could have pitched a better game. I'm pretty sure he also said that these sorry excuses for pitchers were an embarrassment to the game of baseball...

  • he's a legend, but let's not get carried away thinking he can still throw 80

  • i bet if he wanted to he could strike out derek jeter

  • go giants

  • he could still hit 100 in his late 40s, so no doubt he could still hit 80, even though his arm is probably toasted

  • Always great to see Nolan Ryan.

We all have so many memories of that guy.

    He is a true legend.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • wow!! he still has that high leg kick, im surprised he can still lift his leg that high at that age

  • I was at his 300th win game....... That was an exciting moment!!!!!!!

  • i looked it up 70mph he threw jesus man!

  • He's still got it! You know, it took hiring him to show the Rangers what a winning team is all about. I know that, even though they lost, he loved the fact that they got there!

  • C'mon...I heard he was throwing BP for some college teams. There's no doubt in my mind that once he got warmed up he could probably still touch the 80's. He didn't even attempt to throw that ball hard...in a suit mind you! Ryan was and is the freakin' man.

  • damn that s cool, i missed it on cable. I bet ifhe practiced a litttle bit he could get 75mph no problem. awesome vid.

  • @smrio Nolan Ryan? he's still able to get the 80s I'm sure

  • Nice going Nolan! I watched you pitch a couple of times as a Ranger. Loved every minute of it! What a treat....

  • Nolan still going strong...woot woot

  • still throwin almost 70mph,,, NASSSTY

  • Sucks that the Tigers got rid of Pudge.

  • I also got to see him pitch at Angel Stadium back in the 70's.

  • He looks like Jon Lithgow

  • @MissKendall87 no he dosnt noob

  • Thanks for the post. :) One of the all time greats.

  • I got to see him pitch once against the California Angels...he was something special!

  • Too bad you did not catch the full throw to Ivan.

  • i cant believe how long its been since he played.what an all time great, hes a legend

  • almost makes me cry

  • and i bet he could still kick robin venturas ass

  • @brkcustoms I bet you're right!
