What's the point of having that giant space station anyway? Coruscant doesn't have any functioning ecosystem to speak of, so Telos probably doesn't need one for it to be resettled. Besides, if you're shipping tons of food and supplies to sustain the populace of the station, then shipping it to a surface city wouldn't be any different.

Carth and Bastilla's appearance is influenced by how you defined Revan when first meeting with Atton. You will have the choice to speak of Revan as Good/Evil, Male/Female. That said, It's strange that Carth wouldn't show up at all. He should at least appear in a holo log on the Harbinger.

Kotor 1 was view from eye of the storm like original trilogy, while Kotor 2 was supposed to show the annihilation that the war had brought to galaxy, universe was literally to crumble. Nearly all Star wars stories have told about the war but rarely what happens after it, so it was uncharted territory.

I've never read but few pieces of it but comparing it to novelization of original trilogy, it has real dark and hopeless atmosphere around it, so looks like Drew Karpyshyn (lead writer of kotor 1 and Bane trilogy) took some influences. But hey, when book tells you about man called "Bane" and is titled "Path of destruction" that's what you get:)

The reason some of the scenes were cut (in my honest opinion) is because of the rush to finish the game. Obsidian did a very good job for the amount of time they had, but if they had another month or two I think many of the edited segments would still be a part of the game.

There's a holorecord of Bastila explaining that the Star Forge could not be operated without a strong force user (it feeds off the dark side for its power). When Revan left, and Bastila pretty much disappeared with him (dark side), the Star Forge had no such strong force adept to keep it going.
