  • Lower tyre pressure would help a lot !

  • I don't think lowering the tire pressure will help any when in the mud. That will only help in loose dessert sand. In mud, you will want to slice to the mud in order to reach the firm ground beneath.

  • Hey guys, looked you up tonight...makes me really miss our trip down south. Wished we could have hooked up but it just didn't work out - look us up if you come north into Canada.

  • It would take a while, but we sure will do that!

  • Lovely 45...

    ...keep going!

  • Nice 'Cruiser, but holy crap, that thing looks scarily top-heavy!

  • HEy Karin and Coen !!!!,really this is a wonderful and incredible adventure !! congratulations !! greetings from Buenos Aires !

  • hey man you need new tires......also that is one of the coolest Land Cruisers ive seen in a while, you are very lucky

  • thank you, we got new Pirelli tires in Paraguay... :-) very happy with those

  • They should have got better tires before the trip.

  • haha... do you know tires that will last for 4 years??? you cannot keep on buying tires every 6 month can you??? I agree, in the wet season we would not have run this public road on these tires, but in dry dusty weather [which it should be at that time] it shouldn't be a problem...
