i just figured out what that middle botton on the top of the mouse does!! it changes the scrolling wheel, between smooth scrolling, or this ridged kind of scrolling... not sure if my description made sense but you'll know what i'm talking about

As of today I have an old Logitech Internet Navigator Keyboard with a scroll wheel on the left side, which I find extremely useful.

Can the zoom buttons on this Desk Wave Pro operate as a scroll wheel?

Do you know any modern keyboard with a scroll wheel on its left side? Thx

I'm not sure if this was covered or not, but that button behind the mouse is to engage and disengage the microgear scrolling. When engaged, it clicks like a normal mouse wheel, when disengaged, the wheel goes to a hyper scroll mode. You flick it, and you watch it free spin while the pages fly past. Excelled if you need to get through a long page or document. When I first got my set I was a little unsure of the wheel, but I can't use normal gear anymore thanks to my wave set.

I have one quick question. does the wave pro come with an extension to stick the receiver in and if it doesn't does the keyboard still work when the reciever is in the back of the comuter?

that button was for the scroll wheel speed. just figured it out myself. love this set up and good review. No offence, but you have an annoying lebo accent. Good review though.
