@Purin15 the bugatti will make 1000hp reliably and if something goes wrong im sure its under warrenty. i dont think this supra could make 1900bhp daily reliably and when something goes wrong its coming out of your pocket. and really you can buy the bugatti but you cant really buy a 1700whp supra . you have to know what your doing to get a supra to that hp. or have tons of money anyways to pay someone to get it to that power. eithor way your going to be dishing out some crazy money to get it.

it will also take a few miles of road to actually hit that speed. the veyron runs on a w16 (16 damn cyl engine) where the supra is running on an inline twin turbo v6, oh and i believe the Bugatti is also quad turbocharged. gee for hundreds of thousands of dollars less, you can have the supra.

the veyron is a great car and a masterpiece of automotive engineering, but its price tag and amount of cars made puts it well out of reach. I could get a used 2jz supra for less than 10k.

@BluesmanFraser i still prefer small block v-8 or short stroke v-8. they will rev just as fast as a inline 4 but will always make much much more power. the most you can build a 4 cylinder to is about 2500hp on nitro, the 2000cc drag bikes and the factory drag cars and such a small 500CI will make over 8000hp and 500CI has been around forever, they have the 1000CI BB that run about 3000hp on mild race fuel for pro stock and mod stock stuff and similar classes

@dewartt69 yes, the v8 engine has killer potential, i still cant get over these supra engines though, inline six and they won't quit no matter what you throw at them. v8 still has more though as you can continue to boost them beyond what a 6 cyl is capable of.

the bugatti will always be up there among the fastest (production cars) but there will always be the chance to tune the cars to a higher level with the proper cash. Imagine like 3 massive turbo chargers mated with the w16. :)
