There is much truth in this... it is imperative that the sacred feminine is revived and becomes more balanced with the masculine. Unfortunately, as long there is fundamentalist religion to hold both men and women back from achieving this, it will be next to impossible to arrive at that point. The good news is that this is happening and I see men embracing the sacred feminine and women embracing the masculine & then those who are achieving that perfect balance of both within themselves. It is amazing to me that a woman's role has been, in part, nurturing those around them. Yet I see that while nurturing others around them, women often fail to nurture their own beings. The beauty contest thing to me seems like one more way that women have to give and give and give and not even gain anything of value in return. Good vid!

I believe the girls and women who enter beauty pagents do gain. They gain attention and a possible boost to their self confidence. No-one does anything without some sort of emotional gain.

Yes, but they don't usually gain healthy attention, and the boost to their self confidence is based on their looks, which we are born with and can't change. They may gain as far as current earth standards are concerned, but on a higher level their spiritual selves are sacrificed.

True, it's unfortunate for a person to have to gain confidence through looks and pagents, but when a person who has traditional good looks feels they need that much attention, then good luck stopping them from doing it. People live different lives. Some people will always do it and the rest of us won't.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, beauty contests are based in the lower centers, having to do with control, appetite and survival. It would be fun to see them focus more on higher ideals of love, speaking your truth, true vision and a connection to spirit. Perhaps in the future of this planet, that will be possible.
