I've just made a 3d animation of the terranigma pandora room for my channel, im considering maybe doing some more animations for terranigma, any suggestions.
If you haven't played Terranigma, put down your PS3 or 360 controller and check it out. I did so two years ago, and I'm glad I did. Even though I was late to the game, it's one of the best games I've ever played.
...I found this game (in German) on an online auction recently. Because I knew that it had awesome music, I bought it. So thank you, SupraDarky, for helping me buy such an awesome game!
i love this game, it is a party of my childohood. i grow up whit this game, its emocional to listen again to the music, its a very good feling... good old times T_T
Same here man, but the ending really made me feel terrible. I spent the entire game trying to save Ark and Elle, and I end up getting him killed off until he has to save the world again. At least Light Ark got something out of it.
yes, i think so too! i grow up with this game too! i am missing the good old times! but i play the game circa three times of a year (sorry my english isent so good^^) but i think that you know what i meen^^
Well, it helps if you realize that the universe of the Soul Blazer series is broken up into four perspectives: Gaia, Dark Gaia, the everyday people living in the world, and the spirits watching over everything.
So Soul Blazer is the universe from Gaia's perspective, Illusion of Gaia is the universe from the people's perspective, Terranigma is the universe from Dark Gaia's perspective, and The Granstream Saga is the universe from the spirits' perspective.
I think it is a great story. But I really hate its ending. It brought me to tears back then. It is really really sad and unfair. I couldn't stop crying while watching the credits.
I don't understand why this was only released in Europe?! I first played this as ROM. I got stuck at one point where I had to cross a river with no bridge going across it. I couldn't figure out how to get across. :( The music and graphics were top notch. This tune right here is very nice and peaceful. Another good choice! ;)
You have to collect 10x wood in the northern forest by defeating wooden enemys and then just have a talk with the guy standing next to the river, where the brigde is about to be build.
Ah... thank you. Unfortunately it has been at least 4 years since I last played it and I don't know if I still have the save state for it on my pc. I never would have figured that out.
I did read through an online guide at the time, I don't know if it was from gamefaqs or what but I either missed the part about the wood or they didn't have it. Anyway, several years ago...
One of my favourite games ever, and the same goes for the soundtrack.
Grecliff, Zue, Crysta, the Overworld, Berugas Lab, the Title Theme... damn, even short tunes like the minigame music, the wandering people and even the "creation" music are all incredible.
My favourite tune from this game and pretty much in general is the underworld though.
First off, I don't remember that as the title screen. Secondly, this game has some great music, but there are other themes I like better. Try the European town music, or the Elle music. Still a fantastic game, up there in my Top 10 Action RPG's.
Not only that, it's very melancholic and it increases once after you've played through the game. When I hear the melody it always reminds of the very last day in Crysta.

@MrRizo23 its an action rpg from the makers of illusion of gaia/illusion of time, it plays almost alike, but i think terranigma is a little better =)

Notice that this song uses the same leitmotif as "In The Earthen Womb" from Illusion of Gaia?

Terranigma have a manga. (very short)
Castortroyy 2 years ago
This series of games (Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma, and The Granstream Saga) is probably the only one that gets me emotionally.
I'd pay good money to see these games turned into a manga or anime, with that same sorrowful, serene timbre kept in them.
Frieza102 2 years ago 3
I really love this tune. It is truly epic like most of the video game ost from that time
