  • Nice job Man ! keep it up !

  • i cant take that thing apart!!!!

    raaaaawwwwrrr!!!!

  • Is there a video on how to remove the motor from the scooter?

    the model i have is a Romans 150 cc's

thank you for any help provided

  • @SDsailor7 I don't have a vid of it, but it's pretty simple. There's a how-to on my site, 49ccscoot . com . Basically you just need to remove the carb (or disconnect the throttle cable, fuel line, and any other lines leading away from the engine). Then disconnect electrical items like the stator and starter.Disconnect the rear brake. Should be a single long bolt going through the mount and then a bolt where the rear shock(s) meet the engine.

  • @90gtvert Thank you for the information..by the way do you know if they sell a repair manual for this model?

thank you again for your help.

  • @SDsailor7 There are some sort of general repair manuals out there. I have a few links to service manuals linked in my forum. It's not too hard to find a pdf for the 150 gy6.

  • THAT WAS EASY, COOL VID.

  • This is exactly the information I have been looking for! Thanks!

  • awesome! thanks bro!

  • Well hell, I cannot even get the clutch off, let alone open the frickin thing up!!!

  • @SteveWard3928 An impact wrench is the easiest way. If you don't have that, you can try a strap or chain wrench or a spanner to lock the clutch bell into place while you remove the nut. Set the rear brake if your scoot has a parking brake.

  • you could also put cable tie round read brake and tighten fully on

  • Excellent. Just the right information, and the right amount! Best instructional video I've EVER found on YouTube. Clear, brief, correct.

  • Thanks!

  • and you still got your other hand lool

  • nice!! im glad i found this video. i've just had my race variator, 1000rpm torque spring and belt arrive through the post, so i now know what to do. great video great advice cheers man, you have made my life easier.

  • i came

glad i found this, been needing to replace the shoes in my clutch

  • sick soundtrack in the backround man lil dethclok for a goodtime

  • Hey, does anyone know how to do this on a 125cc GY6 clutch? I bought an oil filter wrench at Walmart and it was to small to fit around the clutch shoes.

  • Most of my oil filter wrenches were too small too. They are sold in different sizes. You could try a strap wrench or maybe a chain wrench.

  • GREAT SYSTEM! oil filter wrench I never would have thought of that..the internet is go for something besides porn...who knew

  • Excellent 'how-to':-)

  • very helpful use thanks.

  • Man, You are awesome!!!!!!

You have solved a very hard problem for me!!! Thanks very much!! 5 stars !!and you are greatest my friend!!!!

  • Interesting, I am getting ready to install a contra spring today as soon as a variator I bought gets here, instead of going out to buy an impact wrench I think I will try this vise trick . Good info thank you.

  • Nice video! I like to hear Dethklok in the background. I have recently ordered a Dr. Pulley "hit " clutch for my Yamaha C3 and I am a bit worried about putting it together because of the spring, but your video has given me some confidence that maybe I could do it. I'm sure I'll still have to be really careful though.Hell I don't even know how much that ZTR tool is.

  • Nice! I finally understand the workings of the clutch for a CVT..

  • thx for this very good statement!! 5*

    thx from germany!!

  • wow thank alot guy, this will help me ,i've got all these thing about here, hehe. time to play.

  • Nice. No more uni-taskers in my garage.

Is that the Duncan Hills Coffee jingle playing at the end of the video?

  • Yeah, it's Dethklok.

  • So far, you've done the easiest way. I've seen this dutch guy do it. Over kill! You make look easy enough.
