Hey I know this video is almost a year old,but i was thinking about going BEYOND capping a point. What if we put 20 scouts on point b of gravelpit?I'm gonna do a test by myself, but it might take long.
I do recall one time that at cp_steel we did a scout rush and that at 16 caps or so I had to step OFF the point because it STOPPED capping whenever there were too many scouts D:
I dunno if anybody responded to your first video on cap time, but you can change the limit of people for the speed in payload maps. Official Valve maps have it set at 3, but you can actually have it set to 1, or 4, etc.
One big question I had was that why does 1 scout equals to +50% over the regular speed of cap. Since 1 scout equals 2 shouldn't it be +100% or double?
The answer to that is the speed of (2 people) is +50%. The speed of (2 people) is not +100% or double, but +50%.
So yes the speed is not double the (amount of time) of a regular cap, per se, but instead calculated as double the (number of people). Hope that clarifies that.
