Your arms look a little big for a kungfu practitioner of experience, no offense, i know its all muscle but have u lost speed from making ur arms so big and muscley??
to me, that looks more like a sow choy than a kup choy. not saying you're wrong, just saying thats the way i was taught. good combo tho. i'll use it in my next sparing match!
I've always figure that the internal form users from Wudang would be the traditional enemies of the external users of Shaolin. The Lama Monks were simply another Buddhist Sect. In fact, I've yet to see any historical evidence where both Shaolin and Lama monks had any form of martial rivalry at all.
@actracts Hi, That was just a movie. There are even historians (tantric side) that claim there were lamas also at shaolin. Even a Kagu that was the Abit during the Kans. And even today there are Lamas that are Pureland buddhists. But more history does suport a rivaly (not enemies) with the taoists.
Sorry but, I've trained kung-fu for 9 years, and these things won't work on everyone, It depens if your opponent is fast or slow, and he won't just punch once if it's a street fighting, they would flip and swing their arms, If your a kung-fu fighter you probably would do straight punches and move around, fast straight punches, my trainer showed me these things to but they never worked in a kung-fu competition, when people see movies like this, they think it's easy, but it's not...
the wide swinging arcing hand movements r usually found in the northern systems as opposed to the close linear hand attacks in the southern system is lama influenced by northern styles
It's hard to say if it was influenced by Northern Styles or not. It's Tibetan in origin and predates many of today's northern and most southern styles. Who knows for sure though?
thanks

A fat white man teaching an Asian kid to do martial arts, now I've seen everything. The Asian kid should go all Bruce Lee on the fat boy.

MAN80085 8 months ago
@MAN80085 yes it does, the secret to fighting is not having any hair the opponent can grab

regardless man...this is possible
if a dude comes swinging all crazy..you can still side step and hit the dude in the ribs as done in this video
doesn't matter how many fists are coming at you
that side step is something
judo fighters do and aikido fighters sometimes do as well
and they pull it off each and every time
