  • @lilyinmud

It is truly right to bless you, Theotokos, ever blessed, most pure, and mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, without corruption you gave birth to God the Word. We magnify you, the true Theotokos.

Theotokos is Greek for She who gave birth to God.

  • Hristos se rodi! God bless all ortodox and rimo-catolics!

  • bravissima Divna Ljubojevic

  • Which is the icon at 1:12 ?

  • @krakaneti I think it's a detail from a larger icon at the Toplou Monastery in Crete.

  • Minunat....

  • Glory to God!!!

  • I'm a hindu and I have never listen to these types of songs. When listen to it I got lots and lots of inner peace that I did not how to express myself.

  • @abcdef7148 Music is the universal language of love, that everyone can understand. For instance, i'm from Serbia (just like Divna Ljubojevic), and i really enjoy listening to Vedic chants and mantras. I get that same feeling, like when i'm listening to Byzantine chanting or ethno music from my country. In those moments every atom of my body is vibrating in a wonderful way. Try listening to these links:

  • @abcdef7148 The Orthodox Have a world of peace, if you think the music is good. you should go see a liturgy if ever you get the chance. its like taking a step into another world

  • @Otakutangent Our liturgy is seen and felt, it is no respect of persons to understand and then you will understand ...

  • @vidovdanful again... I'm not quite sure how I gave the impression of not being orthodox. I'm very sorry to have done so. God bless you. I'm very thankfull for the out reach none the less. May the Holy Orthodox Church forever flourish.

  • @Otakutangent At the mercy of the Lord knowing the righteous ..... we Orthodox have one feature that adorns us .... is this feature that puts us in the heavenly people say ... and that is to forgive .... God give you health!

  • @rasosteva. Jesus prayed for the unity of the church in the truth. If you abide in error and break 2nd and 4th commandment you are not in God's church but in the church of antichrist. Union, yes but only on the platform of truth as it is in the Bible and not on faulty Tradition or popes or canons who contradict themselves. Bible is the only Word of God.

  • i think this is one of the best orthodox voices

  • БОЖАНСТВЕН ГЛАС...

  • Stop to ecumenism...

    Belive in Jesus Christ

  • @rasosteva Jesus prayed for the unit of churc. In paradise we will a only think. Cattolic Ortodox and evry people thath belive in Jesus. S. Spirit want ecumenism. You must listen a S.Spirit not your nationalism.

  • @disviarta The only way we can establish communion with the Catholics church is if you renounce your delusion and repent, so that there may be a true union and peace: a union with the Truth, and not with delusion and heresy. Otherwise we can not pray together due to you being false witnesses that is to say heretics according to the Sacred Canons of the Church.

  • im catolic christian and this sounds great

  • Important: all Christians let's come together, we have the most important thing all in common: our belief in God and Jesus Christ.

  • @55990am Its not too farfetched, during the 8th Ecumenical council Christians are supposed to merge into one, around the same time anti-Christ is supposed to arrive… God Bless! CCCC (IC XC NI KA)

  • Men don't see God because of their sinfulness. people do not believe in Christ because they would have to look at their thoughts, their passions, their actions and they don't want to. They would rather rant about historical weakness, about who believes what and who doesn't but they do not want to look inside their own hearts and see the very evil which stands between them and Christ our Risen True God and True Man. Hence the state of the world we live in where murder, hatred, + greed

    triumph.

  • Glory to God !Kirie Eleison

  • Glory Glory Glory to God!!

  • @LegalEagle000 iree in Christ risen, Resurected and True Man, true God!

    Gerastafari

  • I don' t know. I hear, Catholics and Orthodox Christians talk of 'succession'

Well, guess what? I don't see miracles from the priests in either church compared to the disciples. Jesus disciples Raised the Dead went about healing and having great signs. The Pope and Priests from either in my view are not doing this. Jesus himself went to the sick and healed them. Weeping Pictures are not anything. I can see that in Hindu churches.

  • angel's voice of Divna Ljubojevic

  • which byzantine tone is?

  • Come sempre, meraviglioso, perfeta l'interpretazione, ci porta al cielo questa voce angelicale!

  • @fernandortho Vero, fratello italiano. :) Salve da Serbia.

  • Brothers live them alone Dont judge,to not be judge...

  • As a protestant Christian, I envy Orthodoxy because of their closeness to God.

  • @Phototopas, so why don't you become Orthodox? For Protestant Christian, it is possible through study of the Orthodox faith and through the sacrament of Chrismation

  • @Phototopas Then, why dont you convert to Orthodox Christianity. Our church doors are open to all.

  • @Phototopas

Your heart is open ... Show your will and let the Christ does the rest!

    Orthodoxy is the Truth!

    A Greek orthodox christian!

    Christ mercy on our souls!

  • @Phototopas So come join us! I used to be Protestant myself...

  • @Phototopas With all humility may I therefore suggest that you become Orthodox... I made the journey from being a protestant to Orthodoxy and it's like a home-coming

  • @Phototopas why only envy us? come join us and be close to God too,do not lose any more time in such heresy as protestantism....come live...come into eternity with us

  • magical voice....greetings from lebanon.

  • superba cantare! eu adorm de cateva nopti numai ascultand asta! Doamne ajuta!

  • I am not religious but this is gorgeous. Greeks and Serbians are brothers!

  • Mohamed is still alive, but Christianity lives as well. Remember the orthodox millet! The ottomans left Ipek and that was the base of Serbian resurrection in the 19th century. We believe in the same God!

  • The New Testament was originally written in Greek.

  • Orthodoxy enjoys a continued existence from Pentecostalmost any common encyclopedia will testify to this. Throughout the centuries, the same teachings, principles, faith, and unity in Christ have remained steadfast. The hierarchy (Bishops) of the Orthodox Church can trace the order of their succession all the way back to Christ and the Apostles, in an unbroken chain known as Apostolic Succession.

  • Thank you for the wonderful vid enlightening my days. May one day, there be a Home where all is forgiven to love & care, shelter & cherish everything given where hurt ends and hope overcomes time where humankind realizes all blessings of being

  • I am Roman Catholic and pray for the unity of all Christians. I don't think it helps to treat one another with disrespect and an air of superiority. If those below want to debate the RCC teaching on original sin, you should go to the source. Go to the Vatican web site, the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Items 75-77 will boil it down for you.

  • @tbuck501

    Never a unity.

Heretics are heretics and orthodox are orthodox. Should we put together mudd and gold? Don't think so.

    NO to ecumenism.

  • 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

  • Одно тело и один дух, как вы и призваны к одной надежде вашего звания; 5один Господь, одна вера, одно крещение, 6один Бог и Отец всех, Который над всеми, и через всех, и во всех нас.

  • Please tell me the song you had previously. I like the other song much better. It seems is the same group singing, but I'd rather listen to the other version. It is so spiritual. Thank you.

  • Predivna Divna i andjeoski glas! Stvarno bozanstveno pjeva!

  • Predivna Divna i andjeoski glas! Stvarno bozanstveno pjeva!

  • She is saying Lord Have mercy.

  • Beautiful spiritual song. If it weren't for the pictures that have more to do with mythology than spirituality.

  • Who's Mohamed ?

  • @fgd2007 No one terribly important. Just a really bad guy in Revalations of whom Jesus had also warned us about in Matthew 24.

  • @Loiginer .....i know u'r trying to win souls for christ......but trust me......offending others is not being a good witness...

  • @karlbenny

My brother, I am not offending, I am justing saying a truth,

If I say: "death do muslims", I am ofending, but if I say that Mohamed is dead and Christ is Risen, I am just saying the truth, or there is something that I say that is not true?

    IC XC + NI KA

  • @Loiginer yes you are so fucking ignorant beyond conception. all muslims also accept without hesitation that muhammad is dead, and christ is risen. but your ignorance cannot undestand the fact that these two figures are both central to islamic belief, their message being same.

You are a waste of time, actually i shouldnt lose time with such ignorants.

  • ЧУДОВИЙ СПІВ ДІВНИ ЛЮБОЄВІЧ !!!

  • The body of Christ is one. It is mighty arrogant of humanity to think they can divide it into different denominations and churches. In the end, I tell you, Orthodoxy, Catholocism, or Protestant will not matter one bit. It is "whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish" Lord have mercy indeed on humanity which is full of their own hubris. Don't be proud of anything, you are saved by the grace of God alone that transcends all earthly divisions. Anyway, God bless you all and have a merry Christmas

  • @ethanwilliamson91 well said brother!

  • Her voice just soars it is so beautiful i could easliy run out of superlatives

  • These two chorals are the best sung by Divna. Greetings from Germany my Christian Orthodox brothers all over the world.

  • PROUD OF BE ORTODOX

  • PLEASE GOOGLE THIS

Three Days of Darkness: The Great Chastisement?

  • Sorry, can't make it any clearer: the very word used by RC "TRAN-SUBSTANCE-" means "transfer" of "Substance". Bread substance is transferred into Body of Christ Substance. We were not to "chew" on it, for that reason (the nuns taught). It's in the catechisms - unless the Pope has become Orthodox, and then, he should say so and repent publicly of his former philosophies and refusal to believe that it is "Bread". The use of Azymes is further proof of "NON-Bread".

  • @JudithMatta you just have to push the "repent blabla" thing don't you?

"""In Roman Catholic theology, transubstantiation (in Latin, transsubstantiatio, in Greek μετουσίωσις metousiosis) means the change of the substance of host bread and sacramental wine into the substance of the Body and Blood (respectively)[1] of Jesus in the Eucharist, >>>while all that is accessible to the senses (accidents) remains as before.<<<[2][3]"""

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 The truth hurts - just accept the fact that there is little that RC philosophies has in common with the Holy Orthodox Christian Faith.

  • @JudithMatta so your stupid "gifts" or whether Mary was immaculate or not separates you?? wow, way to go miss Christian!! keep on showing how much love you have towards Christ, and how much you want unity!! again, you should really check how divided YOUR church is! Original Sin? "holy gifts"?? all accepted by the orthodox Churches I know!! you or they are mistaken, one of you is ignorant, and you are both separated, supposedly Christ's United Church...yeah right! and I'm sure it's YOU, not them

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 Since you know "ZERO" about Immaculate conception doctrine, and Original Sin - defined as the passing of mortality from Adam to all of us - NOT "guilt" - I would suggest that you go to the nearest Orthodox priest and ask him. If you do not wish to expose your ignorance, go to our own Articles and History pages under Orthodox Christian Mission in California. As an Orthodox theologian, I cannot discuss with someone who doesn't know either the RC or Orthodoxy.

  • @JudithMatta since I got my info from an orthodox friend and another who is soon to be a nun, maybe YOUR RELIGION should decide first what it believes, then teach the same thing to all of you, then maybe, just maybe, you can come bitch about the Catholic Church!

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 Go to an Orthodox priest, not a friend. Goodbye.

  • @JudithMatta go to a friend, different priests, the internet, books. Goodbye!

  • @JudithMatta ""In the theology of the Catholic Church, original sin is regarded as the general condition of sinfulness, that is (the absence of holiness and perfect charity) into which humans are born, distinct from the actual sins that a person commits. This teaching explicitly states that "original sin does not have the character of a personal fault in any of Adam's descendants".[7] In other words, human beings do not bear any

  • @JudithMatta .... "original guilt" from Adam and Eve's particular sin. The prevailing view, also held in Eastern Orthodoxy, is that human beings bear no guilt for the sin of Adam and Eve.""""

    so, apparently, I'm right.!!

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 I was a RC Nun and KNOW what they teach - taught by Jesuits long before you were born. As to theology, Dr. JS Romanides - Vladika Archbishop Lazar are both our mentors here. "Mentors" means teachers (by the way).

  • @JudithMatta I really don't care what you were or who your teachers are....just go on any catholic website, read the catechism, and come back, fine? because I've heard nuns teach crap, and I have spent my life with the Orthodox community... as I have previously shown you, everything you said was false!

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 No You don't care - but others who read your diatribes can smell something false, as I do. "Nuns teach crap"? Are you able to read with that level of discourse? Probably not.

  • @JudithMatta oh, cause usually people have to write poetry in order for you to admit they can read? can smell smthg false? smell all you want, you haven't given any decent argument, I don't know what radical teacher taught you your religion, but I know orthodoxy, I know catholicism, and where I come from these two faiths are living together. Well done on working for the unity of the church, well done for not listening to the message of Soufanieh, and well done for being such a bad christian!

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 : Pope can repent also of these non-Christian concepts: Original Sin (guilt handed down from Adam's sin), Immaculate Conception of Virgin, Primacy of Peter (Isidoran Decretals forgeries), the Consecration of Holy Gifts by "magic words of priest" (Gnostic). All are part of Augustine's Platonic philosophy using "christian terms" -adopted by Charlemagne for his political goal of separating his new "church" from the Eastern Orthodox Christian church's teachings from Apostles.

  • просто супер, жаль что не на русском !!!!

  • ic xc / ni ka

  • piękne. Kyrie elejson

  • voice of an angel and singing in my language beautifully.

  • This is so lovely!! Thank you.

  • Помаже Бог

  • I'M GEORGIAN ORTHODOX... she has great voice...

  • Beautiful, Im so proud cause Im Orthodox Christian.

  • save your ecumenical heresy for some where else. You sound like a protestant.

  • @hmldjr I was a Protestant and I was a Roman Catholic then I became Orthodox. But i realized that a church cannot save my soul only me knowing God personally can i find Salvation and i hope you will realize the same. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may he make his face shine upon you, may he lift his countenance upon you and give you peace. Just remember that true Christianity is a relationship with God, a true walk with him, no church can save a man from hell only Jesus can

  • This music ... is just unreal! So deep and so hot! It makes you to forget all the troubles in this life.

  • I am catholic from Colombia and I prai for we have the unit soon for the God glory Jesus and Mary want one body in Christ.

  • @caparrav Orthodox cannot unite with the RC Church that insists that a man is "infallible", not God, and that he is a "vicar" taking the place of Christ (that's what "vicar' means). The Holy Spirit is our Chief Shepherd in Orthodox Christianity: He IS the Vicar of His Church, His Bride. May we all be worthy of our fathers and mothers who followed Christ before us!

  • @JudithMatta Judith....the RC CHURCH and the ORTHODOX CHURCH can do whatever they want together, if it really came from the heart. The Roman Catholic Church has flaws, and has many people seeking power instead of unity, but so does the Orthodox Church...don't tell me it doesn't, you said no man is infallible, they are all sinful, and both Churches don't wan't to give up things in the sake of unity...If there was true love from both of them, we would have had a long time ago!

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 "Speak the truth in love to one another"...the Truth must be told. Otherwise, it's a unity based on false assumptions: original sin (none in Orthodox), immaculate conception (not in Orthodoxy), transubstantiation, (not in Orthodoxy)..because it is the Holy Spirit - not the words of the priest which effect the Mysteries of the Faith (like the Eucharist). Entirely different understandings: RC is a philosophical system, Christianity (Orthodoxy) is a relationship w/ Christ!

  • @JudithMatta well guess what, the RC Church says the same about Orthodoxy, continuing like that will lead to eternal schism! and transubstantiation is found in orthodoxy, believing the Bread and Wine are the Body and Blood of Christ. Plus, many many Orthodox priests have said that orthodox can pray to Catholic saints, and vice versa.... so even both Churches admit that belonging to either doesn't affect how God views us, there are saints in both Churches! they both have all the sacraments!

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 TRANSUBSTANTIATION: NOT taught - we believe in the true Presence of Christ not LITERALLY (like RC) but keeping the Bread AS Bread, not losing the symbol of bread by a philosophical "magic" changing substances. TWO realities: Spiritual Mystery of Christ's Humanity divinized for us to share and Bread to feed us. REAL bread with Leaven signifying His Resurrection. Re holiness of life (saints), St. G.Palamas explains RC's false mysticism. Uniate priests pretend otherwise.

  • @JudithMatta actually yes! well, unless you are divided among you, I know here in Middle Eastern orthodoxy, this is what orthodox people believe, it is the protestants who do not believe in Transubstantiation, NOT THE ORTHODOX! and actually, the bread is BOTH bread and body of Jesus. And pick your saints better, because there are far more miracles happening than you can deny, with scientific evidence and everything, and stick to Soufanieh's messages if you are holy and better than Catholics.

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 : Orthodox in the Middle East (Jerusalem Patriarchate) also call Divine Liturgy the "Mass" - they should take much more care with terminology. That being said, they do NOT believe in the Transubstantiation - change of substance from "breadness" to physical Body of Christ (He's glorified with the Father Bodily in Heaven) but instead call this a "Mystery" . As an Orthodox theologian I am careful to explain what is believed since the Latins' philosophy will lead to destruction.

  • @JudithMatta well I have lived all my life with easten orthodox people! (I come from Lebanon, right above Israel), that's what they believe!!! well, someone is wrong, either they don't know what their faith teaches, or you are somewhat mistaken!!

  • @JudithMatta oh here I found it ^_^ so, yes, it is indeed called Mystery, Catholics call it Mystery as well, but Eastern Orthodox DO believe in a change, I was sure, my friends and I adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament (they are orthodox), and they always criticize the protestant view of it being just a symbol, and as the paragraph I am about to post shows, E orthodox do believe in trans..... this is part 1.. the others will follow

  • @JudithMatta PART 2....THIS IS THE PARAGRAPH...

The Eastern Catholic, Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox Churches, along with the Assyrian Church of the East, agree that in a valid Divine Liturgy bread and wine truly and actually become the body and blood of Christ. They have in general refrained from philosophical speculation, and usually rely on the status of the doctrine as a "Mystery," something

  • @JudithMatta PART 3....

something known by divine revelation that could not have been arrived at by reason without revelation. Accordingly, they prefer not to elaborate upon the details and remain firmly within Holy Tradition, than to say too much and possibly deviate from the truth. However, there are official church documents that speak of a "change" (in Greek μεταβολή) or "metousiosis" (μετουσίωσις) of the bread and wine. "Μετ-ουσί-ωσις" (met-ousi-osis) is the Greek word used

  • @JudithMatta PART 4..

used to represent the Latin word "trans-substanti-atio",[55][56] as Greek "μετα-μόρφ-ωσις" (meta-morph-osis) corresponds to Latin "trans-figur-atio". Examples of official documents of the Eastern Orthodox Church that use the term "μετουσίωσις" or "transubstantiation" are the Longer Catechism of The Orthodox, Catholic, Eastern Church (question 340)

  • @JudithMatta PART 5

and the declaration by the Eastern Orthodox Synod of Jerusalem of 1672:

"In the celebration of [the Eucharist] we believe the Lord Jesus Christ to be present. He is not present typically, nor figuratively, nor by superabundant grace, as in the other Mysteries, nor by a bare presence, as some of the Fathers have said concerning Baptism, or by impanation, so that the Divinity of the Word is united to the set forth bread of the Eucharist

  • @JudithMatta PART 6

Eucharist hypostatically, as the followers of Luther most ignorantly and wretchedl
