nice video, i've lived in Seattle 7 years now and only been there once,just got up to the 6,000 ft mark where all the green areas end.

i plan on finally climbing it this year, i see it every day; it's hypnotizing.

Inspiring! I love Mt. Rainier and can't wait to climb it. It is so beautiful and I see it every day but have never tried to climb it. My favorite part was them sliding down the mountain. Looked like fun!

This is the climb my dad never made on the 21 June 1981, he was killed in a massive ice fall along with 10 or 11 others at 11,000 feet.

Wow. The guides told us that story and we all stopped and had a moment of silence in their honor nearby.

I have seen some other videos of people climbing Mt Rainier, but this one has really motivated me even more, seriously! :-)!

I sure did, but it took half of heart to reach the summit lol!.

I live in California so the altitude in Mt Rainier was a big obstacle for me.

Eventhough it was hard to climb Mt.Rainier, I would totally do it again :-)!

I think it's around $850/person, plus some food and stuff. Plan on $1000.
