they're not automatic rifles...and we're not just shooting, they're calling out drills for us to shoot. hammer pairs, controlled pairs, failure drills (2 to the chest, 1 to the head), standing to kneeling, kneeling to standing. it's not as east as it looks. and also the distance is for close combat training...something you would know if you were a marine....
