Have some knowledge on economics of the Reagan era before you start spouting out BS. Reagan inherited the third worst economy in our country's history. Interest rates were over 21% for home purchase, salary freezes on all companies in the US, gas rationing because OPEC shut off our oil because they thought we were wimps because Carter would not stand up to Iran and inflation was at some absurd number. Reagan came into office lowered all tax rates at that time the so called rich were being taxed.

Interest rates were over 21% for home purchase, salary freezes on all companies in the US, gas rationing because OPEC shut off our oil because they thought we were wimps because Carter would not stand up to Iran and inflation was at some absurd number. We need someone with this kind of unapologetic realism today. Not Obama with his vision of a government controlled automotive industry, banking industry, medical industry, petroleum industry, etc. For him the answer to any question is government. Deficit spending, disastrous economic policy, a healthcare plan that removes choice and quality, increased taxes, record partisanship, and record corruption...and this is after Bush's second term!

More regulation and taxes leads to reduced production, less jobs, more bureaucracy, more government involvement in our lives, more corruption, etc. Read a History book & find out how great nations of the past failed. What llewelynn doesn't understand is that our nation gives more to humanity than any other nation-read your history. We have freed more countries from tyranny- France from Germany-To be free, we must fight to stay free. We are the last nation of our kind. I am 33 years old. Since Bush the first, I have been in the faces of all those who oppose the Constitution. States rights, and all powers that Bush 1 and 2 , Clinton and that includes Hillary. Seems to me that this Governor of California "inherited the mess" (to borrow a phrase from The Messiah - Obama) from President Carter and promptly received the release of the kidnapped Americans. Could he have done more in response to the Beirut Barracks attack? Yes, absolutely. Why didn't he? I am not privy to those deliberations, but I am disappointed, nonetheless. Where is his corruption?
What did WJC do during the 1990's to confront the radical Islamic threat? Nada!
