Hey I've been trying to do something very similar (but using A/D input into the F4550 instead). I don't know a whole lot about micros.. This is for a university senior project though so I need to be a quick learner. Can you please offer help or suggestions?

@daxweb Well since I build autonomous mobile robots with image recognition i think I DO know much more than you about it. This guy knows some stuff. Nice job indeed. But I still dont believe that you would like to use this mouse on daily bases. So by this logic = it is pretty useless.
