MrRoycelong, I tend to think that the ONLY "Christian conversion" that Washington did was AFTER he was dead....by the revisionist history writers in the middle of the 19th century onward to make him more "christian" than he actually was.
I'm a Christian and I've researched that alleged quote of George Washington. There is no record of George Washington saying anything like that. If George Washington did say that, he was probably saying it for political reasons because George Washington did not make a Christian conversion until near the end of his life.
Not only is this a Bull shit quote, but how do explain how all other societies including Rome existed without belief in the biblical god?
