Besides, customising each save-state to get a perfect run takes a lot of time and effort in its own right.

The hardest part about a speed run on THIS game is you have to be EXACT on your movements or you fail.

That is very hard to do because the controls in this game SUCK!

You have to master the controls to be good at these types of speed runs.

@Gorillazfreak18 Mario 64 was the first 3d game to actually have decent controls, the controls are pretty simple. Never played sunshine cause it was supposed to suck, but mario galaxy has even smoother controls then mario 64. The controls are awesome!
