Paul and LInda, they were and still are each other's soul mates. No one can ever replace Linda in Paul's life. They respect each other and obviously happy. I loved listening to this and laughed about the hurricaine and him on a rock and it being a "Bit dodgy". :-)

Whenever I see Linda looking uncomfortable in interviews, I'm reminded of how much criticism she had received for so many years. Her looks, her singing - she was never good enough for the cute Beatle. Most of the press and public treated her like that. It's a wonder that she continued to accompany Paul to the interviews. He probably insisted and she placated him.
Linda is no ordinary American. She was raised in Arizona and is touch with the American Indian culture. It seems AZ has left it's spiritual mark on her. She is a great horse rider as well, much better the Paul, yet she never boasted her bragged about her talent. She was humble and never tried to upstage her husband as Heather Mills did.

Their view on vegetarianism has motivated me to go to the Outback tomorrow afternoon as soon as they open and order a couple of bacon cheeseburgers, with Swiss cheese substituted for American. They don't eat meat? Fine and dandy. But I sure do, and I thoroughly enjoy it. Each to their own.
Ok, here is a response to some people. Even if you are an American, you can pick up an accent from wherever you have been living. And some people pick them up more than othere. So it is not unusual that Linda picked up an accent. She lived in England for many years and her entire family had English accents. And @sabra734, Linda did look unhappy in a lot of interviews. She was actually quite shy and she was uncomfortable with interviews. Paul has actually talked about this.
4:07 I wanted to cry when I saw that photo... Paul last words to Linda before she died were "You're up on your beautiful Appaloosa stallion. It's a fine spring day. We're riding through the woods. The bluebells are all out, and the sky is clear-blue." Now I know which horse he was talking about. :'(
I think it's so sweet when Linda reaches over and touches Paul's leg and he taps her hand lovingly and then takes it into his, and ends up holding it for the rest of the interview. Just goes to show you how much they loved each other.
The accent thing is different for everyone, but you can definitely pick of an accent as an adult. Bill Bryson lived in Iowa until he was about 20 and then lived in England for 20 years. He's lived in the U.S. for the last several years. Look up an interview with him to hear the unique way he talks.
When he asked the "20 years from now" question, little did they know that Linda would be dead for 9 years and Paul would be in the middle of a bitter divorce from that bitch. Breaks my heart too.
They were married since 1969, most couples aren't all over each other. They are comfortable in their own skin. They aren't dating! When I see celebrity couples being all lovey dovey, it looks like they are doing it for show, and usually are! Then they are divorcing by the next photo.

@HIMATT0730 But have you ever heard the scream of carrot when it's bitten? What makes people think that plants are a lesser form of life and do not have feelings? There's science in that. I don't like the brutality of any an essential part of life sustaining. But you'll not have me believing that you can do hours of overtime at hard labor on veggies. You'd not have time to work trying to manage to get enough calories. Fine what you choose, but not superior to an omnivore.
@arfalon I agree with your calories.. but i dont believe in eating animals for calories just to do hours of overtime at hard labour... and i dont mind if you r superior being an omnivore.. i m always happy being a veggie even if that makes me a twat. :)
@kaitlinan yes she was american a guy in my class lived in england for a year and came back with a british accent and beads around his neck and mod clothes on
What's frickin wierd is that she adopted a northern accent like Paul's, even though she lived in Southern England. What a phony. Maybe she did it for her kids so she wouldn't seem like the lone foreigner of the family. If that's why she did it, then OK.

It's hard to imagine that Paul only spent one day away from Linda in their 30 year marriage. So Paul didn't shag any other birds in those 30 yrs, maybe except that one day.
@lonewolf091: It's not weird at all. People who spend long periods of time among people who speak differently will pick up their accents. My sister moved from New York to the south and now she speaks with a southern accent.

what do you call a dog with wings? linda mccartney. not so much a groupie-- just legal connections. later paul got sucker punched with one legged curse woman.
Yes. Linda Mccartney's 'brit' accent is fake. She was born, raised and lived in the U.S. into adulthood. A person's accent doesn't change after they reach the ages of 12-14 years of age.
if you would LOOk , once again... CAREFULLY..at my respond , You'll see that, there is NO ANY thing about : 'I believe or not.. I JUST RATED REPLACEMENT or MANUFACTURING... could you IMAGINE...HOW GENIUS WOULD BE..HIS CREATOR ?!?!? JUST I M A G I N E...
Oh man... this is so nice to watch! I've always thought that those two were actually "made" for each other. Look how they (always) complement each other. Sweet.
Thanks for posting this! As well, I agree with Linda's talking about "Nature vs. concrete".
Reminds me of the song....that lyrically say "tear down paradise and put up a parking lot." (Don't know what you got...'till it's gone.) Now a day it's like everyone wants the opposite...wild...and sad in a way, will we be here to see?
You know wobblybobengland, you are so right.. I am from Manchester and lived next door to Irish, ScotsJewish and who knows how many other nationalities over the years at different places in that city and know one really gave damn where you were from or heaven knows your grandparents or great grandparents were from but we were all Mancunians. It is an American phenomena at least from my veiwpoint having lived in the Bronx for the last twenty years. The Beatles were Scousers full stop.
i don't think she's faking it. it's a common phenomena- when you're around someone who speaks differently for an extended period of time, you begin to adapt and change your way of speaking to become more like theirs. she married an englishman and moved to england, where she was surrounded by more english people- of course their manner of speaking slipped into hers.
Paul is of Irish background on both sides of his family tree hence the Wogan's reference to his dad's being Irish and PAul 's reference. All the Beatles except Ringo were of Irish backgrounds not Englishman for God's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i wasn't referring the their backgrounds, also, he was part scottish, if you'd done your research. i was referring to WHERE THEY LIVED, which was in england most of the time, or their farm, in SCOTLAND, not Ireland.
The Beatles were/are sons of Liverpool, like me, nearly everyone in Liverpool is of Irish descent if you go back a couple of generations, it seems to be an American obsession to say that your descended from an Irish background and to most Scousers it doesn't really matter that much! for God's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paul and LInda, they were and still are each other's soul mates. No one can ever replace Linda in Paul's life. They respect each other and obviously happy. I loved listening to this and laughed about the hurricaine and him on a rock and it being a "Bit dodgy". :-)

This isn't Paul McCartney, Paul died in 1966 and was replaced by this muppet, Bill.
Ramram131 2 years ago
Ramram131 ! so replacement...was GENIUSLY SUCCESSFUL...!
sam0xin 2 years ago
I take it you haven't seriously listened to Bills solo work - if you believe this man is Paul McCartney I'm afraid you've been seriously duped.

she is nervous not stiff. She wasn't into fame and status just the simple life.
She was so great and we all know movies are not exact

She is stiff!
sabra734 2 years ago 2
Linda seems VERY stiff UPPER lipped here. Rather cold and unfriendly. Not the way the movie of her life made her out to be.
donpazer 2 years ago 7
you are right about that. she has what used to be called Scarsdale Lockjaw.
maryquant1967 2 years ago 7
Her father was a VERY successful and wealthy lawyer in New York. She is NOT related to the Kodak Eastmans.
donpazer 2 years ago
Her family name was originally Epstein so how would they have been related to Eastman of Eastman Kodak?
maryquant1967 2 years ago
She wasn't related to the Eastman Kodak family.
giodalle 2 years ago
I know that. That was my point.
maryquant1967 2 years ago
her name before marrying Paul was Eastman
XxtriphopcabaretxX 2 years ago
Before they changed their name to Eastman, the family name was Epstein. Look it up.

So true. I wish more people would believe that.

@sandydennisfan
I miss Linda's outspokenness on not eating animals. She even spoke
out about fish! I used to love that. I miss her.

Oh man... this is so nice to watch!

I love Linda McCartney. I love how she was saying people would be happier with nature than technology taking it away from us, and she's vegetarian.
skateHYPE 3 years ago 3
i don't think she's faking it. it's a common phenomena- when you're around someone who speaks differently for an extended period of time, you begin to adapt and change your way of speaking to become more like theirs. she married an englishman and moved to england, where she was surrounded by more english people- of course their manner of speaking slipped into hers.
rsfa221337 3 years ago 14
Paul is of Irish background on both sides of his family tree hence the Wogan's reference to his dad's being Irish and PAul 's reference. All the Beatles except Ringo were of Irish backgrounds not Englishman for God's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nikbeatmb 2 years ago
i wasn't referring the their backgrounds, also, he was part scottish, if you'd done your research. i was referring to WHERE THEY LIVED, which was in england most of the time, or their farm, in SCOTLAND, not Ireland.
rsfa221337 2 years ago
The Beatles were/are sons of Liverpool, like me, nearly everyone in Liverpool is of Irish descent if you go back a couple of generations, it seems to be an American obsession to say that your descended from an Irish background and to most Scousers it doesn't really matter that much! for God's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wobblybobengland 2 years ago 3
@rsfa221337 She was originally from Scarsdale....than has spent so many years around the British.
