I think the whole liberal/conservative duality is merely a distraction presented to us from mass media. This bill should bring both "sides" together. Our country is polarized. The whole principle of "pick a side then stand by it" is dead. The key is to be able to present an argument without having to mention a political party or religious belief. So the speculation is they were set to put media attention on fires rather than what what was being passed in Congress. That's the rumor. I wish I could have logical rational and logical debates with fellow Americans about the issues, but they end up name calling and lashing out at me. They tell me I "hate America" and try to emotionall hijack me. Instead of opposing my arguements with logical bits of data other Americans tend to lash out at me by putting words in my mouth and trying to paint an image of me as a jerk. It's so hard in todays United States to debate properly with other Americans without them avoiding the real issue.

Most Americans, if you want to even call them that, are lovers of conformity. I work in management now. I have to walk a fine line between micro-management and utter chaos with some. I will micro-manage production if someone is abusing the job while others work. However, I encourage people to take breaks, and please, take a break if need be. I look at these assholes who claim to be leaders, they are the types who would stalk you to the shitter, and even watch you. Kick their asses out.

The cnstitution would be gone if we fail to defend it, by "we" our congress, our millitary, and our police which consist of people (our own citizens) sworn in by an oath to defend it from not only foreign enemies but domestic. I am using intelligence. The government is being very clear. "Force OR Violence" shows that force means something different than violence. So, force without violence means intellectual vigor or the power to convince.
When they were talking about this Bill in the US House of Representatives, they were talking about Americans who want to petition the gov for a redress of grievances, a right guaranteed in the 1st Amendment.
Bush throws out these redresses without reading them.

HR1955/S1959 is about protecting the needs of a VERY TINY ELITE FEW, maybe 10000, from the "Vulgar Many" - all of us.
