You are right, Its just hard to believe on first glance with all the people who lie their asses off on the tube. Also its kph not mph so it looks more dramatic also. i was just kinda humorously poking at them.
Something is not right on the speed / rpm correlation. The 1st run up @ 60 mph shows 1500 rpm's. The 2nd run shows 1500 rpm's at 100 mph. I would check the tire size ratio on the smarty for proper tire size.
You had it on a dyno.

The RPM's aren't going to be consistent with an automatic trans, because of the way the converter locks up.

The convetor is locked up via a manual switch as soon as I hit 2nd gear. It is a 1:1 in drive and .68 to 1 in o/d.

The speedo is correct. I have checked it with my gps and it is dead on. It is 1500 rpm at 60 KPH. The truck has 35 tall tires with 3.73 gears.
