  • Oh, brother... supertruthlover. I see this jello minded twit from time to time. I assure you.. you can ALWAYS copy and paste whatever she writes into google and find out exactly from where she plagiarized. Verbatim. Disgraceful plagiarism EVERY SINGLE TIME. Think I'm full of it.... check for yourself. This person has not 1 original thought of her own. If you argue with her, you're just arguing with an apologists website. cut and paste. cut and paste.

  • rituals and traditions even if they are cherished, well established practices, do not constitute true religion.

In 1 Corinthians 1: 27 we learn that God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. Simplicity not complexity was Jesus’ emphasis in Matthew 18:3: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

What is the implication here? being a child

  • this guy should die

  • @SuperTruthlover He is already. And no, I think you should trade his place

  • @SuperTruthlover to bad retards like you are allowed to live in the real world

  • @MrMilagroqq

Well the the real world is no filled with the darkness you prefer

You would like Christians dead and gone

This is a common desire of militant atheists like you and your ilk

  • @SuperTruthlover I do not wish any xtians to be gone, that would eliminate my entire family. I would however, wish people like you would educate themselves and stop being so gullible and cult like. Science fly's you to the moon, religion fly's you into buildings

  • I reject religion and only follow Christ

You atheists are ignorant about the relationship Christians have with Jesus

We love and accept science and it was not Christians who flew into any building LOL

Men use science to understand our world and God gives men wisdom to fly to the moon and back my friend .

Jesus spoke against religious leaders and told people to not be merely religious but to love our neighbor as ourselves

Atheists like you and your ilk are ignorant about Jesus

  • @SuperTruthlover i reject your claims about the existence of your jew zombie, as there's no good reason to believe such a character ever existed.

you apologists are ignorant to the messianic deities which came prior and shared the same attributes as your jew zombie, and because you believed in "him" first you reject those previous deities because they don't agree with your brainwashing.

there's no evidence supporting your fairy, and thus no reason to "follow" it.

  • @Rabsputin

You can reject the evidence for Jesus Christ if you like when the world accept it

Saying there is no evidence about Jesus is a false assertion and shows you know nothing about history or evidence

  • @SuperTruthlover "and shows you know nothing about history or evidence"

    and that was just comical.

  • The Bible presents a pretty grim view of the thinking processes of Natural Man. I've already stated the claim that "Natural Man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Cor 2:14). That doesn't bode well for the logical discussion of the truth. And it only gets worse from there. Paul says "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers,2 seeing the light

  • @SuperTruthlover quoting a book full of blatant contradictions doesn't impress me or do much for your claim to being a truth lover.

what you're basically saying is: you have to be an ignorant, gullible fuckwit to see "the truth".

quite frankly, fuck that and fuck your bullshit beliefs.

you are a spreader of bullshit, a liar, and you come here under the guise of someone who gives a shit about what's TRUE when in actual fact all you care about is spreading your vile lies.

    fuck you.

  • @Rabsputin

militant atheist like you and your ilk are always making assertions about so called contradictions found in the bible but NEVER are able to prove even one exist

If the 66 books written by 40 authors over a 1,600 year period is so full of contradictions one would think it would be easy for you to show me one

Without evidence for you assertion I tend to think you are full of the shit

you lie about what to bible says because you love the darkness more than the light.

  • @SuperTruthlover "militant atheist like you and your ilk are always making assertions about so called contradictions found in the bible but NEVER are able to prove even one exist"

so much for truth lover, more lies as expected.

the contradictions in the bible have been pointed out AGAIN and AGAIN but idiots like you just clam up, put your fingers in your ears and start yelling "LALALALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" at the top of your lungs.

you don't give a shit about the truth.

  • putin

the contradictions in the bible have been pointed out

No you are wrong and you prove my point by being unable to come up with any contradiction from the bible

It should be easy for you to point out a contradiction in the the bible

There are so called contradiction atheist come up with and I can show are not actual contradictions. You don't really know any contradictions do you?

I am sure you will go to some atheist web site for them LOL

Trust me you will fail in your attack

  • @SuperTruthlover I POINTED YOU AT A WEBPAGE WHICH POINTED OUT A WHOLE SLEW OF BIBLICAL CONTRADICTIONS!

ARE YOU AS BLIND AS YOU'RE FUCKING STUPID?! IT WOULD APPEAR SO!

this is like talking to a fucking wall. conversation over, i've got better things to do with my time than have a conversation with someone whose brain has been washed and then set to "read only".

  • putin

The web site you suggested was false as there was not even one contradiction list that had not been shown to be false.

Things like one person mentioned a dog and the other person does not

If we both see a dog but one of us does not mention the dog as part of our story this is NOT a contradiction.

A contradiction means both thing cannot happen so all one must to is show another possibility to show a lack of contradiction

Post one and I will show you how this works

    dogface

  • @Rabsputin

I know why you don't point out contradictions yourself my friend

You don't want to actually read the bible so you depend on atheist web site that claim they have bible contradiction and accept them as true.

    So gullible

  • @SuperTruthlover "you lie about what to bible says because you love the darkness more than the light."

this is just funny. i'm a child of the enlightenment, something the religious have fought against for centuries, and i love darkness?

not only are you a liar, but you're also an insane moron.

  • @SuperTruthlover you call yourself "super truth lover", and yet when actual truth is presented to you, you reject it in favour of your own delusions.

i'm a truth seeker, it led to my atheism. if you REALLY loved the truth, you'd do everything you could to discover it REGARDLESS of whether you agreed with it or not or were even comfortable with it or not, but it's clear that you don't and you're only interested in the bullshit you've been fed by "authority" figures wearing collars.

  • @Rabsputin

you assume much and know nothing about my experience with Jesus Christ

I have never belonged to any religion and don't listen to men with collars

Jesus called me and I follow Him only

  • @SuperTruthlover "you assume much and know nothing about my experience with Jesus Christ"

oh really? what did you do together? play racquetball?

"Jesus called me and I follow Him only"

some mexican guy called you on the phone and now you're stalking him? is that it?

you're a sheep being led by an non-existant shepherd.

  • @Rabsputin

You are a slave to your sin and live in a darkness that is as deep as you are ignorant

Jesus loves you and has a plan for your life.

You seem to believe the propaganda spread by militant atheists 100s of years ago

Christians never were against science silly boy

  • @SuperTruthlover show some proof of jesus, you can't. Remember to most ot the world he was just a phrophet to others just one of many false messiah's. You believe in jesus because you were born in a xtian nation, it proves nothing. If you were born in the middle east you'd worship allah etc etc. And for atheist being ignorant about jesus, sorry, the latest studies show atheist understand religion far better than bible thumpers. Just fucked your theory. Research atheist IQ vs. religious Iq

  • @SuperTruthlover show some proof of jesus, you can't. Remember to most ot the world he was just a phrophet to others just one of many false messiah's. • you atheists always say the same things

    I was raised by atheists

Proof is a negotiable thing. Different people require different amounts of verification before is considered proof. And, I agree. Just because it is written in the Bible doesn't mean it's true. There would have to be something about the Bible, or contained in the Bible, that would set it apart from other works. If you're interested, I could tell you some of those things. And you could look them up for yourself.

  • @M

Most militant atheists were trained in one religion or another and then reassure themselves by attacking the Christian faith.

Knowing about religion is worthless as knowing a car have four wheels when you don't know how to drive a car.

There are 300 fewer atheists in the world everyday and 70,000 more Christian and 60,000 more Muslims.

Atheism has not increased for 100,s of years

atheist are also the most despised group in the world .

No one wants their son to marry an atheist

  • @M

I would however, wish people like you would educate themselves and stop being so gullible

You make assertions that Christians fly into buildings and are against science

Come out of the dark ages and stop making you vile attacks on Christians

Why would Christians be against science when all we observe in the universe suggest a Designer and we now know the universe had a beginning .

We know the universe is expanding as the bible asserted 4,000 years ago.

    your atheist faith fails

  • If you grant all the miracles, you grant that Jesus is probably God (or at least on good terms with him). Then its a good idea to follow his advice.

  • @Keeban3 Not really. Your bible says that others are able to perform miracles as well. Doesn't make that person god or on good terms with god. And really, based on his behavior in the bible- who wants to be god's friend? Only reason to be on good terms with the xtian god (if he exists) is out of fear of what evil & vile thing he might do to you on a whim.

  • @utubepunk

If I met someone who could do real magic, and they said it was because they were talking to God. I'd listen. And so would you. Just as we'd listen to a scientist who could do what was previously thought as magic.

If you can do the impossible it generally means you have access to information which makes the impossible possible.

  • @Keeban3 No.I would be skeptical. I would ask them to repeat the "real magic" in a lab environment. People who can do "magic" well enough to fool you work in Vegas. They can also take the James Randi challenge & win an easy million dollars. Science isn't magic. Its based on reality, facts, evidence, trial & error. If you can do the impossible then it isn't impossible. So if someone does magic & claims its magic from Zeus, you would convert to worshiping Zeus now? Magic is all it takes??

  • @utubepunk

I've never seen real magic, but I've seen enough fake magic that I feel confident that if I did see real magic I could tell. I wouldn't convert necessarily (because people are sometimes wrong on why they can do things). But I would listen to everything they had to say about it very intently.

  • @Keeban3 LOL. Okay. Well keep your real magic detector fully charged & handy at all times. Ya never know when it might come in handy. And how exactly do you know if your magic detector really works? Have you've ever encountered "real" magic. Someone like Hitchens has been around the world & hasn't mentioned ever encountering real magic or anything supernatural. So even if you grant all the miracles, that still doesn't prove divinity.

  • @utubepunk

How else could you prove divinity except by magic? And how else could you explain real magic except by divinity (and by magic I mean purposeful manipulation of reality to break the laws of physics)?

  • @Keeban3 Picture this. You're a cave man. Then I walk up to you and produce a small lighter & flick it on. MAGIC! While I would get a hardy laugh from you worshiping me, I am by no means divine. So where is this real magic you speak of? So far, is it the stuff of myth & fantasy and has yet to be proven.

  • @utubepunk

If I am a caveman, and you have a lighter produced out of a society of technology, I'll listen to whatever you have to say.

  • @Keeban3 Well too bad becuz you couldn't understand a word I said. And if you believed me & my lighter to be divine, then you'd be sadly mistaken. Even if you could understand what I was communicating, would you believe me if I told you I was the son of god who is actually god who sacrificed myself to myself to be your savoir from myself and I'd send you to hell for not believing? Makes perfect sense!

  • hitchens was always an embarrassment on religion. he pretended to be educated on the topic but was...well, clueless. no honest respectable historian denies the existence of a man named jesus who taught what the NT claims he did.

his absurd claim that christ, when he said, "take no thought for tomorrow," meant to literally do nothing for your future is not only stupid, but it's offensive. no way hitchens was honestly that dumb to believe that's what christ meant.

  • @jboze3131 1) there were many 'messiah' at the time most put jesus, that still doesn't prove that specific jesus ever actually existed, it's all hearsay or second hand evidence. 2) Catholicism was made up by the so-called 'Saint' Paul & his Roman cohorts, any real follower of jesus would have been a fully practicing Jew who just so happened to believe that jesus was their messiah. 3) the whole premise of the new 'Christianity' was to just believe in jesus and you'd be saved, that's it no worries

  • @jboze3131 Hitchens did embarrass religion, especially the catholic church & their moronic stance against condoms in Africa. The bible mentions that jebus did so many works, if they were written down they'd fill volumes. Amazing no other historian has documented this. Jebus did say to give up your belongings & follow him. Doesn't sound like a future. Also said god takes care of the birds. In reality, birds live short, flea & mite infested lives. Your god's healthcare plan is the suck

  • @jboze3131

Then why did C.S. Lewis say that Jesus could not be a moral teacher unless he at least spoke on behalf of God?

  • if i ever date another religious girl, she'll get hitchslapped if she brings the subject up.

  • @youthank8 LOL. You're mean!

  • I thought the sop had more sense; was I wrong;

always demanding proof of a statement; where is his?

  • This man has obviously read the BIBLE. Jesus was born in Bethlehem his father was from Nazareth. Also the Gospels all say the same about his birth. If you are going to bash something at least get your facts straight.

  • @JustinJaybrown how about reading the bible for yourself....better yet- have 4 bibles out, one to each gospel- then read. all of them at once.

  • @PaleoClipper I have much more than 4 bibles and have read them

  • I don't need the bible to know what is right

  • None of this is true....Jesus was born in bethlaham (mathew 2:1) and again in Luke (2:1-7)

and there are three historians who wrote about Jesus five who mention Christian...and God doesn't mean to not work when he says "follow me". You can see plenty of evidence of Jesus message of working hard and honestly and doing the right thing in life.If you do not see that then i would say you haven't read the bible to well.

  • @dylpickle17 And you see what you want to see in the Bible: It's called cherry picking. Also the so called historians that mention the Christ are either forgeries or found to be not actually mentioning the Jesus character of the Bible.

  • Socrates owns Jesus. Period. d(:

  • Well now Mr. Hitchens will know the truth.

  • @Naturalhit he wont know anything... hes dead

  • it seems to me all the mastery of atheistic pedagogical logical lingo is the best denunciation to the word of the Church, the discrepancies in the gospels and the christian legends put forward by the christian banner brandishers of day, ones that base their whole spirituality on the acceptance of this

  • emblem of creationism Jesus Christ as the part and the sum of existence and defining piety and holiness in only the Acceptance of this fib created by a bipartisan plot between church and monarchs to oversimplify to the masses, the message they remolded to their benefit, leaving out the most crucial parcels, the ones that atheists would deem historically adequate. The Humanity of christ is a pillar in christianity, in acceptance, in submission, the only holiness is of the one, the greatest

  • the origin and creator of all, before time and space, leaving out even the human aspect, i for one recognize, mathematically, spiritually, individually, egotistically, selflessly, that I am part of a whole, and that themoral values that i adhere to, dictated to me by my genes or my upbringing or my conscience are not a creation of my own psyche alone, but of everyone else's, choose theyto recognize it or not, and that timewise, what makes me ME, different than all others, is what i do and believe

  • @zigravos why do you believe that? did you think of it yourself? or do you base it on spiritual garbage that has been spoken to you?

  • "Millions carry "the flag" because of this man." Flag of what? Nothingness?

  • @Jaskasll until you can see the wonderful universe for what it is without YOUR god, you will never understand. T

  • @Jaskasll To be proud of what we are apart of. Nature. Carrying the flag of rationality, no invisible things, science and reason is the flag we carry. If that bothers you, oh well. Until YOUR god shows up, we will continue with it. You will not understand the stance of an atheist if you consistently think we believe in nothing. We believe in one another, we believe in the universe. Tangible things, we believe in. That's all it takes is an appreciation for the universe without hopes.

  • @Jaskasll the flag of REASON, of EVIDENCE.

  • Like or dislike Mr Hitchens, agree or disagree, he was a powerful speaker and a moral man. I don't agree with everything he's said but men like him are needed - those who speak truth to power, especially that founded in ignorance.

  • @bannor99 Hear, hear!

  • A brilliant and enlightened man of extreme depth and incite. The world will miss you as it still needs you, yet all you have done has helped this world so greatly.

  • I have it on good authority that hitchens called out 'forgive me lord Jesus' just before he passed away. I have an uncle at the cancer medical centre in Houston and he was there. It shocked everyone in the room. I guess he wised up in the last few minutes of his long life.

  • @jpgrygus lol...he is not as pathetic as you and your uncle.

  • @jpgrygus I will not respond to you again as I know you're a troll. It is easy isn't it? To go mock atheists as one of their brightest has passed away? It was clearly tempting enough for you to spend time going from video to video making derogatory comments. I'm not mad at you. I'm not even going to make some condescending comment about "praying" for you. I will, however, point out how little you are as a human being to gain enjoyment from the suffering of others. Cheers.

  • @jpgrygus as the saying goes "no atheists on a sinking ship"!

  • @amstellori ya you are right...only christians on a sinking ship....your ship is sinking dude.

  • @ninjamojo711 who's gonna fly the flag for you now? where you gonna find your next foul mouthed spokesman?

  • @amstellori Millions carry "the flag" because of this man. That is his legacy and the future is looking quite promising for the herd to be thinned.

  • @jpgrygus Well my cousin also works there and he says Hitchens said "Sorry Jesus but I'm gonna hang with Dionysius instead"

  • @jpgrygus lmao you wish

  • We will miss you Hitchens. I will raise a glass to you tonight. Maybe more than just one though.

  • @Crucifuck Who are you speaking to? You speak as if his spirit can her you... According to you guys, when someone dies they are just a rotting corpse....

  • @imax1971 He can't hear me. I can toast to some one's memory without invoking the bearded man in the clouds right?

  • hitchens is so full of hate. really sad to see. the problem is hate blinds you to the truth.

I wonder if hitchens has ever read the Bible. Would love for him to give a truthful answer.

  • @amstellori Its funny you question if Hitchens read the bible. Of course he did- he cited its contradictions & inaccuracies many times. Hitchens wasn't even 1% as hateful as the god of the bible.

  • @utubepunk thanks for your comment. I made my comment because no-one who studies the Bible, note I say study can make the claim that the God of the Bible is hateful. I welcome you to state any contradiction or evidence of God's hate that You have found in the Bible. I have only seen evidence of a God of love, wisdom and justice.

  • @amstellori Are you serious? The bible is anything but an statement of justice let along wisdom! Not only is a hateful book but its sexist, racist, ignorant and incredibly unmoral! just a little proof of its "wisdom"... "When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening. If a man lies with her and her monthly flow touches him, he will be unclean for seven days..." Leviticus 15:19-32.

  • @amstellori And another: "Man born of woman. Who can bring what is pure from the impure? No one!" Job 14:1-4

  • @amstellori So genocide is love, wisdom and justice. Besides god, is Hitler also your role model? Have you read the bible? Man's early laws, endorsed by god were immoral & evil. Check out evilbible [.] org if you're really curious. If I forced you to kill your son as a sacrifice to me, would that be an expression of my love, wisdom & justice? This is how religion deludes & poisons people into believing horrible things are good.

  • @utubepunk Since you make the comment you can supply me with one example of genocide in the Bible and I will reply. Also 1) no one FORCED Abraham to offer sacrifice 2) Abraham DID NOT sacrifice his son. It seems you only look at things on the surface. A student goes beyond that. Are you interested in the facts at all?

  • @amstellori Sigh. What a cop out. Have u read what happens to ppl who don't listen to the wrathful, vengeful god in OT? There goes point 1. Point 2 is moot because 1) he was going to before god said just kidding. Yeah, someone about to kill their child is a minor sufrace thing. Wow, just wow. EvilBible. Org yet? BTW, if you agreed to kill your son as a sacrifice, SHAME on you. Another genocide example- the plagues on Egypt, esp killing of first born. Or is that a surface detail, too?

  • @utubepunk Are you a pacifist by any chance? 1) when a soldier goes out to war and is prepared to sacrifice his life for the freedoms you enjoy, do you say you're evil? 2) when someone like hitler and his armies are defeated, do you say that was wrong, we should of let him wipe us all out? 3) Would you stand by and let your family and friends be murdered by an enemy or would you defend them with your life?

  • @amstellori Moving on I see. I gave you a few examples of god's genocide in the bible. I'll tell you what's evil- a mafia boss that literally controls everything & asks me to sacrifice my son just to see if I would do it. That's evil. Me going through the steps of killing my son- evil. Mafia boss saying- just kidding, here's something else to sacrifice to me, your jealous boss. Evil & sadistic. Genocide is evil. Attempting to murder your child is evil. Can we stay on topic here?

  • @utubepunk Just as I thought! You would skirt round my questions.

  • @amstellori No sir. You're attempting to move the goal posts & instead of addressing my concerns, you've resulted to playing question games. So much for study, huh? Either address my points or don't, but don't pretend you don't know my position. I've made it very clear. Genocide is evil. Attempting to murder your child is evil. Forcing someone to do so is evil. If you fail to understand and see why, then you understand why I very much dislike your religion. EvilBible [.] Org

  • @utubepunk Thanks, my comment to you was sincere. Your considering the questions posed will help you to understand part of the Bible context. If you want a full explanation of God's dealings with the nations and with Abraham then you will have to have a thorough study of the scriptures, are you willing?

I honestly can't sum it up in a comment. For example are you aware of the Universal Issue? Are you familiar with Bible Covenants? What about the grand purpose of the Mosaic Law code

  • @amstellori You can't sum it up? I thought I summed up my position pretty well and I asked your feelings on it. I care what you think, not so much what a bronze-aged book written & copied & edited throughout the ages says. I don't accept the claims of your bible as its riddled with inaccuracies & horrible deeds certainly lacking in morals. If it helps you rationalize evil things, then I know it should be avoided. The fact Jews don't accept Jesus is pretty telling itself as well.

  • @utubepunk Im a student of the Bible and have come to a conclusion on its claims. The conclusion I have reached is entirely mine and it differs from yours. I hope that is o.k. with you?

Jews not accepting Jesus? 2 problems.

    1) There animal sacrifices were to continue until coming of Messiah. Why did they stop sacrifices 2000 years ago?

    2) The Messiah would prove his genealogy from records kept at the temple but they were destroyed in 70AD. So no future messiah can make a valid claim.

  • @amstellori Yes, you are free to believe (or not believe) & interpret the bible anyway you see fit. Yes, Jews don't accept Jesus as the messiah. Why did the animal sacrifices stop? Probably the same reason they stopped stoning disobedient children and gay people. Jesus has at least two different genealogies in the bible. Do you believe the dead rose from the grave and walked around when Jesus was crucified?

  • @utubepunk

    1) The 2 genealogies of course, one from Joseph's side and the other from Mary's.

    2) Matthew did not say they were raised up. He said their bodies, or corpses, were. Second, he did not say these bodies came to life. He said they were raised up, and the Greek verb e‧gei′ro, meaning to “raise up,” can, among other things, also mean to “lift out” from a pit or to “get up” from the ground. Which is what can happen after an earthquake.

  • @amstellori Uh, the two genealogies are both Joseph & not exactly identical. Also, does it bother anyone else that Mary was married to god. She basically committed adultery which makes Jesus a bastard son. Also, wasn't John the Baptist one of those who rose up and was later seen in town, not merely just lifting out of the ground from an earthquake.

  • @utubepunk John 3:19-21

  • @amstellori I meant to say, Mary was NOT married to god, so she committed adultery & that makes Jesus an illegitimate child. Also, genocide is still wrong. Forcing someone to kill their son is wrong. Killing the first born is also wrong.

  • @utubepunk 2 Peter 2:10 1 Corinthians 1:18-21,

  • @amstellori Do you have any original thoughts are you just robot posting bible verses now? Can you answer my questions in your own words, please?

  • @amstellori Please have a little bit of respect for someone who just died. At least a minimum of education. But then... if you admire a book full of immorality, sexism, racism, hate and ignorance, what can we expect!

  • @oscarmcmc What are you on about? I have not made any comment about Hitchens death. I've just heard the news. I suggest you take that comment back about me disrespecting him.

I will however make my comment on announcement of his death. I express my deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

  • @amstellori By truth, I assume you mean that far too many religious leaders are misogynistic, boy-buggerers.

And Hitchens has demonstrated solid knowledge of the bible and other religious books on numerous occasions. Look up what the man said and wrote, not what OTHER people CLAIMED he said.

  • I said the same thing in a history essay. me feel smart now

  • @worksequalsalvation

"You are in denial and worship a pagan god requiring bloody sacrifices"

    Exactly LOL!!

These christians kill me with their idiotic drivel..SMH

So lemme get this straight: their sky daddy's son died because his father demanded a sacrifice in order to forgive every one's sins, something he could've forgiven just by showing his "infinite mercy" and could've simply just said: "DONE..everybody's forgiven.."

    Please!!....LOL!!

    They can keep that B.S.!!

  • @blackadam06 Yes, god had to sacrifice a version of himself to himself in order to create a loophole for a rule that he made but messed up.

...and what kind of sacrifice is it ?, sending a version of yourself to hell for a few days knowing he will get out and go to heaven for eternity...that's not a sacrifice.

You just can't write this shit ...oh wait a minute, it is written!

    Pure fiction!

  • Comment removed

  • @worksequalsalvation Hitchens ignores all manner of evidence. He said a number of ridiculous things about the historical Jesus that he could not possibly know. He is basing his views on ancient texts of which we only have at most 10% still extant. He is an intellectual fraud.

  • Uttter rubbish. If Hitchens understood ancient historical texts, he would know that history and fiction were often obscured,, e.g. Herodotus' Histories. To talk of fraudulent, manipulative myths by leaders to sway the masses assumes that ancient Palestine was not under the yoke of Rome and that the downtrodden need have no hope. The myth of Jesus should be seen in the light of rebellion, not whimsical manipulation. Again Hitchens' hate of Christians clouds his historical analysis.

  • yeah right dream on. i get email notifications when people (including idiots) reply to me... also, it's spelt 'wit'. I'm actually starting to feel sympathetic. ps thanks for giving this video so many views :)

  • @1GodOnlyOne Who died? Hitchens is still alive.

  • @DanielBerlinTV No, I heard he's dead.

  • @1GodOnlyOne He appears to be very much alive. But so what if he was dead, what would that prove?

  • @DanielBerlinTV Well he passed now. Your words will be missed Hitch.

  • @DanielBerlinTV Just that he's dead. Thanks for asking!

  • @DanielBerlinTV hes dead now.

  • @DanielBerlinTV It proves that God won.

  • @1GodOnlyOne No, you heard wrong again. It's Jesus that's dead. Hitchens is alive.

  • @endofscene Wrong on both counts, jackass -- Hitchens is dead, but Jesus is very much alive.

  • @1GodOnlyOne "Jebus is very much alive", lol, that was a good one, thank you, we can use a good laugh. Is he also going to bring you presents this year? Did you already prepare his milk and cookies? OOo, i think i hear him on the roof, do you hear him too?

  • @pegasusfreedom Who's Jebus?

  • @1GodOnlyOne He did die, but he rose again after 3 days.

  • @ninjamojo711 not much of a death if your only dead for 3 days.

as for your constant preeching of the fact that hichens is dead(which we all know), so is jesus. we have proof that hichens was a real person, for all we know jesus couldve been several people.

  • @1GodOnlyOne 1godonlyone, your religious friends have lied to you

  • @iliveon You are the only liar -- Hitchens is dead.

  • @1GodOnlyOne I know; I am a big fan. Jesus on the other hand is dead too. He was a man who got deified, either that, or the people who wrote the book fabricated him entirely. Afterall, the gospels describe Jesus in story-book form.

  • @DanielBerlinTV No, he's definitely dead, dude.

  • @1GodOnlyOne And Im glad hes dead. Good riddence.

  • @1GodOnlyOne- Hitch is alive, this is from 2008, he's released a lot of material since then while simultaneously battling cancer. So, '1GodOnlyOne' huh, can i safely assume you're either an extremist or a terrorist from that name? one thing's for sure, you're an idiot who can't look up basic info on the net before commenting stupidly, twice, on youtube.

  • @revso81 Hitchens is dead, dude. Deal with reality.

  • @1GodOnlyOne Very Christian like...

  • @1GodOnlyOne there's a higher probability of Hitch coming back than Jeebus!

  • @1GodOnlyOne Two seconds on Google could have spared everyone from that pointless and fallacious comment.

  • @andrewafuchs Religious people hearing & believing non-factual events? It's more likely than you think. ;)

  • @utubepunk Hitchens is dead, and you are deluded.

  • @1GodOnlyOne Awesome. You're finally telling the truth. Would like proof of how I'm deluded or are you simply making claims which you can substantiate again? You know according to the Koran, you are going to hell. Muslims think you're deluded. Does that bother you? See why your unfounded claims about religion & my delusions don't bother me?

  • @1GodOnlyOn Jesus is dead, you're deluded. You show me Jesus alive and well, and I'll believe you.

  • @Andyroo2319 Paramahansa Yogananda met Jesus in the flesh. Do you discredit him?

  • @jpgrygus Met Jesus in the flesh!? Amazing. Now where's your proof?

  • @jpgrygus I discredit anyone who claims to have met a man that died 2,000 years ago.

  • @Andyroo2319 Jesus mows my neighbors lawn and cleans their pool. What now?

    lawl.

  • @ImmaDwarfKicker Ohhh fuck, HE IS RISEN.

  • @Andyroo2319 They have a way around it. Christ has ascended to heaven. Arguing with them is like playing Chess with some drunk person who doesn't know the rules.

  • @adwarakanath Feels that way. I think this guy passed out though...Haven't heard from him in a few days. :P

  • @Andyroo2319 show me gravity, or an atom,

  • @TdotSoul I don't need to show you gravity, just jump out of a window. And you can see an atom quite easily with the proper equipment.

  • @Andyroo2319 just because I fall doesn't mean it's gravity ;) It's just a plausible theory that we all read about in a textbook!

  • @TdotSoul Something's certainly making you fall. And there's nothing that suggests it's a beaded old man in the sky. ;)

  • @Andyroo2319 Tim MInchin actually hopes that more of these guys will disapprove of the theory of gravity too, and float the fuck away. He has something there . . .

  • @manthasagittarius1 Hahaha, if only...

  • @TdotSoul gravity is not a theory, gravity is a FACT, the theory is that it is caused by a strange property that we call mass, mass is possibly caused by a theoretical particle called the Higgs Boson, the Higgs is as yet undiscovered but based on our understanding of particle physics it is at this point probable to exist. Evolution is an openly obsrvable and scientifically demonstrated FACT, the theory is by what means does evolution occur ie the theory of Evolution by natural selection

  • @frozensilent "gravity is not a theory, gravity is a FACT, the theory is that " haha, you're telling me that gravity is a fact, but it is based on a theoretical particle? Don't get me wrong, I believe in gravity, because it is what I've read about and have been told, and it is plausible enough, same with evolution, I believe in it, it's plausible, I've observed evidence of it, but I have never observed it. They are all just theories, and could be disproven at any time.
