  • My zebra danios go crazy after I feed the

  • i love your bubble tube x

  • Lol mine do that too but its awesome

  • Danios are total spazbots. I don't think mine rest more than five minutes per day, lol.

  • The shape of the tank is fine.

  • how many gallons ??

  • really nice setup :D

  • Haha.. so true, just like my danios, crazy as anything. If my danios arent chasing each other around like maniacs, theyre toying with my goldfish or bristlenose catfish.. gotta love em

  • Nice environment for the fish. I like it. :D

  • if that was my tank ide smash it

  • no offense u should get a dirrferent tank for the fish

they need long space not round

  • did your zebra danios reproduce?

  • Yes, I have found fry when changing the water, but I think they get eaten!

  • @sabrecheeky did some of those fry ever survive?

  • @sabrecheeky White Clouds are a lot slower to eat their young. Zebras are harder to breed cos of their more voracious nature.

  • i love your tank its awesome but a bit loud. i want all the plants and decorations i love it!!!! 5 STARS

  • Gosh! That tank is so loud! My baby biorb isnt as loud as that!

  • It is a different soundtrack - I was messing with a video editing app at the time! It is a recording of rainfall in a wood!

  • thats cool

  • But aren't they absolutely adorable? Remember the one inch of fish per gallon rule. What size is that tank? They will continually swim to the surface like that cuz they dont have a lot of room to swim. Neon tetras would be a fish better suited to a tank that small.

  • Is that 1" per gallon rule a well known, safe recognised rule? I'm new to keeping fish, and don't want to over populate my tank.

  • Yup it's a well known recognized rule. It's not accurate all the time since some fish eat more than others, but it's a good rule to go by if you're new. For example, a small goldfish needs about 5 gallons per inch of fish because they eat a TON and pollute water easily.

  • lol i only got 5 of these dudes in my 75g! and they still swim at the top a good bit, shows how much you know dickwad.

  • Hey cumslut, they can swim AT the top but it's not normal for them to DART from top to bottom top to bottom etc.

  • The bigger one in my tank always chases the smaller one. The smaller one tends to hide in the plants to be hidden.

  • you need a shoal of 6 or more to stop them from tail nipping and they look cool in big groups and less aggresive.

  • my danio is a little bastard he always chases the other fish should i get rid of him? message me back

  • bigger shoal id say having a larger peaceful species seems to help too, i have 2 fancy goldfish with mine but i would recommend something else less dirty

  • @xspursx2013 No you just need about 4 or 5 more so thell stop if you cant fit that ammount sell it back to the place you got it. they probally will accept it

  • Actually, 0o0owannabeo0o0, I am not sure what you were doing to your danios, but mine were always aggressive and they were terrible at fin nipping as well. My fishes fins looked as though they had just gone through a paper shredder. These are definatly not docile or peacful fish.

  • u ight get babies haha i had 6 danios and i put them in a 10 g by them selves and they started breeding lolthen i had a crap load of feeders haha

  • you would of been better with a tank with length rather than height

  • lol, you named them

  • I'm cycling my tank with 2 zebra danios and I was wondering...After about a wee 9the water's still perfect), do you think I could put in a few cherry shrimp? i'm not sure if crustaceans need a cycle tank, and i'm going to provide a lot of plants.

  • Join an aquarium forum. There's lots around. I don't know the answer to your question but there's people on the forums who will.

  • i have 3 danios ....2 leopards and a pearl, they are great fish..... highly sociable and active....great fun to watch !!

  • wow, awesome tank. I have some zebra danios too, but one of them got deformed. I read that it is because of inbreeding, but anyways cool tank!

  • man that water is making me thirstey

  • by the way nice fish and tank you do know if your just had zebra danios you wont be needing a heater as it is also a cold water fish and you can also try mixing them with coldwater goldfishes

  • They're tropical fish.

  • aw that's a nice aquarium. i've always wanted a small cylindrical one.

  • do these fish fin nip other danios like zebras and pearls

  • no they aren't fin nippers, they are community fish, i have 5 with gouramis, and black skirt tetras

  • i got my fish yesterday. These were my first. I was told to buy 3 i think that one of them are a couple how do i tell what sex they are

  • The males are slimmer/sleeker, and are the stripes are more gold than the silver of the females. I think! Unfortunately, I've lost two females :-( I put a guppy in, and it just seems to harras them... I hope that isn't what got them.

  • lol i have a whole bunch of danios extremely crazy and breed fast

  • is there a heater in there

  • yes - it is hidden by the curve of the water.

  • they really do never stop giving er'

  • they are just really active fish............... nice tank tho

  • Fishy version of Tag =^^=

    And Cheeky!!!! YAY!
