@LAZrailkapinda Can I ask why Vsync kills the game? I have an E6420, gts 250 and 4gb ddr2 800, and it still has a slight lag, just slight. Would shutting that down help? I have the shadows off and only use 400mb of a 1gb card. Any more and it wants to lag more... Any thoughts on a bottleneck?

This card will not get 30-60 fps with all the video settings maxed out. I have 2 of these cards in sli and it runs like shit maxed out with AA ect. (dont say its my cpu as its a phenom2 965 @3.9ghz) Also your card does not sit at 55 degrees while in use as shown in ur video, they normally sit around 80 so i don't know what the deal with that is either.

@OneTouch8700 AMPs on the 12v Rail (You can have More than 1) are Just as Important as Watts , Use Google and Research it , The GTS 250 requires a minimum of 450W and a total of 28Ampere on the 12V rail. So for example a 550W and 16amp Psu on the 12v rail Would not Run it.

@superarmands I once had a similar setup and could barely run it at max settings. You may have a higher framerate than I did. My system was a DDR2 setup. Try upping the ram or the gpu.

I have an i7 Qcore 2.66GHz 8GB RAM 1 TB HDD PC with a Radeon HD 5770 1GB.

The Dell XPS8100 is a more common known name for that :P

anyway, the 5770 is an amazing card - it can be compared to the GeForce GTX 260, and I play with everything max'd EXCEPT shaders on High and Render Depth on 70ish.

If I go to max shaders it lags like HELL - down to 20ish fps

@luian90 Uh thats a real graphics card I just mistyped it he has a ATI Radeon HD 5830 which is not the best compared to the 5970 but the recommend video cards are 512MB NVIDIA 8600+ / 512MB ATI 3870+ So he is way above that with the type and the memory. And with the processor the recommended processor is a Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz. And he has a Intel Core I7 2.93 GHz.

So yeah I probably can run it to the max OLD MAN.

wow ok ur retarded. MW2 is an entirely linear FPS, and GTA IV is an open-world that renders GREATLY even at a render depth of 1. MW2 might have better graphics in SOME ways (way more specular highlights than necessary makes it a unique art style), but GTA IV, although models are really muddy, requires a MUCH bigger graphics card and processor.
