Has anyone tried laser treatments? I don't think oil or creme is very effective because it can only make the stretch marks brighter. The only way to really get rid of them is a laser pigmentation.

Hmmm....I have found that raw unrefined shea butter has softened the appearance of the stretch marks I have significantly. All I do is melt it down and add it to my body lotion and rub it on day and night (I use the bath and body works exotic coconut and just add it to that). The lotion doesn't really matter, but I just added it to my lotion for convenience. Shea butter is naturally high in Vit E, but for an xtra boost, adding vit E to the mix seemed like a good idea to me....
Do I even need a face salt scrub, clay mask, and skin toner if I have black soap in my life? Am I spending more $ than I need to? Is Black Soap supposed to do it ALL? I have been using Black Soap, but I have a habit of still using my face scrub, clay mask and skin toner...Am I overstressing my skin? Am I overdoing it? I've recently noticed stretch marks forming on my upper arms. I'm using the Crisco now to try to get rid of those. It doesn't seem to work really well on the flat marks, but on the rasied ones it WILL work. Only problem of course is that it's really messy and greasy. I only used in at night before I went to bed. I wouldn't put it on, then put on my good clothes at the risk of staining them.
For your stretch marks use Crisco... yes the cooking oil. The thick white lard type stuff that comes in the can, Crisco. It works. I am not lying. Maury had a home remedy show YEARS ago and the ladies on there said to use Crisco for stretch marks. I had those same type of raised marks on the sides of my hips as you. I used Crisco on them and the disappeared. They will not TOTALLY go away, but the raised part will flatten out and they will fade a good amount.

@TheAleska1987 I am SO forreal! It works. I don't know why but it does. Like I said it worked for me on the raised dark marks on my hips. It doesn't really seem to work on the flat light marks on my upper arms, but I haven't been really consistant at applying to that area like I should. I did the Crisco thing on my hips YEARS ago, and the raised marks have NOT returned.
@TheAleska1987 Try it. EVen if it doesn't work for you, you're only out $3 or $4 for a small can of Crisco, and not $50 or more for an expensive cream. The Crisco tip and a tip about putting sugar on your tounge when you burn it, are the only things I remember from that Maury show and that's cause they both work.
I'm going to sub to you so I can keep up with your progress if you decide to do the Crisco. I'm interested to know if it works for others like it worked for me.
I LOVE YOUR VIDEO i was exactly the same way. I am african american and stretch marks runs in my family. About 4 years ago I was around 114 to 120 and within the 4 years I ended up having a child and I gained 60 pounds. there was no difference... like at all.
stretch marks can be lightened (alittle) but other than surgery.
they can't be removed.

@clh12161981 im wondering the same thing too. i bought bio oil and have been using it for about two weeks (but i took a little break in between). in the first three days i thought i saw an improvement, but now i feel like its the same (maybe even worse, because ifeel like im gonna break out soon)

I have tried both for my pregancy stretch marks and niether one works. They would work best in preventing the skin from further marks, but nothing for the ones that you already have. I willing to try the bleaching cream..

OMG the same thing happen to me I went from 125 to 181 and my body could not handle the weight -- I have the marks everywhere and I hate them --- I bought BIO OIL and never used it -- but I have it -- I bought Mederma (if that is how you spell it) and I used it but its so expensive I couldn't keep buying it -- I have used shea butter and coco butter -- I am going to try again -- but I am glad you posted this --- You are so not alone

Has anyone tried laser treatments? I don't think oil or creme is very effective because it can only make the stretch marks brighter. The only way to really get rid of them is a laser pigmentation.

yes there are skeptics out there, coco butter will work, but it will take 1 yr, shea butter is better, i can attest that applied everyday it will definitely fade them in 6 months.

Hmmm....I have found that raw unrefined shea butter has softened the appearance of the stretch marks I have significantly. All I do is melt it down and add it to my body lotion and rub it on day and night (I use the bath and body works exotic coconut and just add it to that). The lotion doesn't really matter, but I just added it to my lotion for convenience. Shea butter is naturally high in Vit E, but for an xtra boost, adding vit E to the mix seemed like a good idea to me....

Do I even need a face salt scrub, clay mask, and skin toner if I have black soap in my life? Am I spending more $ than I need to? Is Black Soap supposed to do it ALL? I have been using Black Soap, but I have a habit of still using my face scrub, clay mask and skin toner...Am I overstressing my skin? Am I overdoing it? I've recently noticed stretch marks forming on my upper arms. I'm using the Crisco now to try to get rid of those. It doesn't seem to work really well on the flat marks, but on the rasied ones it WILL work. Only problem of course is that it's really messy and greasy. I only used in at night before I went to bed. I wouldn't put it on, then put on my good clothes at the risk of staining them.

For your stretch marks use Crisco... yes the cooking oil. The thick white lard type stuff that comes in the can, Crisco. It works. I am not lying. Maury had a home remedy show YEARS ago and the ladies on there said to use Crisco for stretch marks. I had those same type of raised marks on the sides of my hips as you. I used Crisco on them and the disappeared. They will not TOTALLY go away, but the raised part will flatten out and they will fade a good amount.

@TheAleska1987 I am SO forreal! It works. I don't know why but it does. Like I said it worked for me on the raised dark marks on my hips. It doesn't really seem to work on the flat light marks on my upper arms, but I haven't been really consistant at applying to that area like I should. I did the Crisco thing on my hips YEARS ago, and the raised marks have NOT returned.

@TheAleska1987 Try it. EVen if it doesn't work for you, you're only out $3 or $4 for a small can of Crisco, and not $50 or more for an expensive cream. The Crisco tip and a tip about putting sugar on your tounge when you burn it, are the only things I remember from that Maury show and that's cause they both work.
I'm going to sub to you so I can keep up with your progress if you decide to do the Crisco. I'm interested to know if it works for others like it worked for me.

I LOVE YOUR VIDEO i was exactly the same way. I am african american and stretch marks runs in my family. About 4 years ago I was around 114 to 120 and within the 4 years I ended up having a child and I gained 60 pounds. Now I have stretch marks on my butt on my sides (which are very dark, we are around the same skin tone and mines are darker than yours), I even have them on my knees, thighs sides, arms they are like everywhere. The only place that they arent are on my chest. Thank GOd lol

great video"so the only thing to get rid of stretch marks is a lazer,or a prescribed cream from a dermatologist,but i use both palmers coco butter lotion,and bio-oil together and they will definitly soften the stretch marks and gentley helps with discoloration but not too much but it is an affordable and gentle approach
