Good collection of adverts including one of the Ford adverts with the song 'Mr Sandman'. I do not know who originally sang it but it had been in an advert before sometime in the 1980s, for a well known newspaper called 'The Mail On Sunday. I wonder if anyone has the video.
Melissa is a femme fatale played by Jennifer Ehle in an Alan Bleasdale mystery series based on - or more accurately inspired by - an earlier one by Francis Durbridge.

Steve Lamacq does the voiceover for Shine 8, which also seems to be the only ad here with a URL.
