Rafael Nadal is the best right now even Federer has said this on the form and consistency he has shown going back to 2010's Clay Court season! If Rafa wins the Australian Open this year he will become the 1st player since Rod Laver 41 years ago to hold all 4 Grand Slam titles at the same time....that to me will put him above Federer even with the Grand Slam record that Federer has as this is a harder achievement to achieve!

@pps1fan Good post and i agree. That's an unbelievable achievement if he were to go on win the AO. We all know if healthy he is the clear favorite at FO. Wimbledon can be a toss up. But only 2 playas for the past 8 yrs to have won consecutively are roger and rafa. I don't see that changing this yr. So you can put that into consideration. A possibility he could win the first 3 GS of the yr and tossup the USO. It's anybody GS. I would love to see him win all 4 tis yr. I like to see history.

@pps1fan I'm a huge Rafa fan and I think holding all 4 slams at once is incredible and one of the toughest feats for sure. But, it's hard to compare it to the all-time mark, know what I mean? I think 16 slams is more a measure of long-term success, 4 slams in a row is just insane, so it's just so hard to compare those 2 records. I think Rafa will be the best ever, anyways, but he has Roger to thank for this too, as they pushed each other in an evolutionary arms race of sorts.
