The only good thing about twilight was that it introduced the world to taylor lautner who i think is pretty damn hot with SHORT hair.

It definitely isn't deep at all. If ANYTHING it is a religious analogy, and that is just a rumor. I've read every last book, saw the movie, & I'm still disgusted with how static both Edward and Bella are, and how the dynamic of their relationship wasn't well developed at all. Twilight just sends young readers into a hormonal frenzy because it is presented through Bella's eyes and THAT is why it is popular.
