I don't know what it's like to be a Chinese Malaysian since I'm a Malay Malaysian but to me, I would only tell you "you're a Chinese" to remind you of your culture and heritage. You are not a different race to me. You are not a stranger but a brother/sister. discrimination is here in USA, yes. Can you name a country where it doesn’t happen if you go looking for it. But in Malaysia, you don’t have to go look for it because it seeks you out, slaps you in your face every which way you turn, and is sanctioned by law!
In the US, my children have the same opportunity just like their black, white, and immigrant friends. go back to Malaysia? So they can suffer the state-sanctioned discrimination as the non-malays have for over 50 years?

he said WTF china gov gave fundation to a country who killed many of chinese in 1998.
