  • Looked like a nice safe ride to me. Most enjoyable.

  • magnificent !,greetings from POLAND !

  • you with the camera you can ride your bike,,, it is gsxr 750 though so you have a great bike too ride lol.. good vid and no shite music just the bikes screeming nice.... good work.... liked the guy at the end hahaha

  • loved the video .. I used to drive that stretch of road daily returning from work so brought back good memories.. unfortunately only once on the back of a bike.. like the video

  • @52.

Did you guys forget about other riders? Pass on the right with a bike on the left of that car? Come on We all Like to share the road! Think first before ya twist!

  • @Autumnwind00 Riders? you mean rider-he was just cruzing behind the car,not overtaking,we where on a fast one so it was the car that was the problem for us,he pulled out on the front bike while we where already on the right overtaking,he saw us and stayed where he was,you miss the point my friend of this video,it is not a safety film,Im still here to reply to your comments because i do think before i twist!Of course you pass on the right,in the IOM you drive on the left!?!

  • tHE THING TO WORRY ABOUT IS GRANDPA PULLING OUT ON HIS OLD TRACTOR ONTO THE ROAD,sorry about the caps

  • What a lunatic. Wish I had the nerve to do that.

  • very very cool video !!!! greetings from germany !!!!

  • very very cool comment, greetings from UK!

  • isnt it dangerous when you lay in a curve and get on the white lanes on the street? istn it slippy kind of way?

  • so long as you are not leaning right over white lines are ok athough they are deadly in the wet, then you only cross them when upright or with very little lean

  • Camera guy, you can ride! wow, nice vid bro. Greetings from sunny Jamaica.

  • greetings my friend, glad you liked the vid

  • I wold love to do this. is mad sunday the only day for riding round the island . Last racing i went to was Aberdare park races on sunday. ONce a year the park is road raced. It rained a lot but alll the crowd was pleased with the racing .

Great ride of the island thanks for posting. i would love to get my gsxr 1100h around there .

  • So u guys counter steer and then start to lean? I am a bit confused here. So do you try to get ur butt off the seat for the optimum position while in the corner?

Correct me if I am wrong, but the I.O.M is 37.5 miles, and during the TT you are made to do 4 laps, right?

Why did the biker slow down drastically @6.57?

Cars should be banned from the IOM. I am sure you guys would scarpe knees at all corners/turns if u had the road to urself, right? :)

  • Yeah, you sort of lean and steer at the same time, the simple act of pushing the bar makes the bike go over to the way you want to turn then you lean into the corner, with you arse off the seat if you are going for it,the bike slowed down just to get us past,we agreed that we would move about to get us all in the vid and make it interesting,he was right behind us, he was the guy who made the"and relax"comment, getting your knee down on the IOM,hard,on the track, all the time. continued

  • The roads on IOM are pretty bumpy,if you are leaning over hard your suspension is working less successfully,if you are getting to the point of getting your knee down the problem is if the bike is bouncing you have a good chance of the bike touching the road first instead of your knee, that will take grip off your rear wheel(usually) and you do a sort of rear taking over the front spin,on track days, you scrape your knee on nearly every bend.top road racers at the IOM rarely have there knees down

  • Amazing the speeds on such a skinny 2 way road too. You would have to know the roads directions well or else you may zig where you should have zaged. Great vid!! I am on my 2nd season of my first bike, still getting used to counter steering even at 70-90 km/h in corners where 50 is posted. I tend to still look where I would hit if I didnt make the corner.

  • brings back good memorys from IOM,was that practice week thats the best time to ride as its not so busy, the little southern 100 is good to ride also

  • Correct,it was practice week, great time to go as not only is it quiet on the roads compared to race week but you get some of the racers on the road with you giving there bikes a final shakedown, wow some of those guys can ride, some of the lines they take are unbelievable!

  • The Isle of Man has speed restrictions which have been in place for quite a few years now. But where the sign indicates 'national speed limit applies', ie in England 70mph, here it means GO LIKE SHIT!, No limit applies. All the best. PJ.

  • wow nice one m8 love the vid !!!!!!

  • To turn a bike at speed safely you have to counter steer,ie push left bar away from you to turn left, once you get the bike turning the way you want, the lean and how you use the footpegs is then most important,I also get my arse off the seat and hang as much of my weight as possible over to the direction I am steering on really fast bends,on really slow bends leaning over will make you turn along with steering the way you want to go(pulling bar).just lean at high speed and you WILL die.

  • Not really, it helps, but not really on a bike. If you get on a bike that's been made with fixed handlebars you can't do very much at all.

  • it's canon ball in isle of man ....L.O.L.

  • Pretty cool... I wish I lived there! 5 stars!!!! Do you guys ever get pulled over for "reckless driving"?

  • i dont think they do, it only the towns that have speed limits on the isle of man - hense why alot of bikers go there

  • still cant figure out how a motorbike turns, as the bars were not moving at all. Why doesnt bike fall when leaned over. I thought you turned bars slightly. not the case. Should of payed more attention in physics class lol

  • its called counter-steering. The pressure your hands put on the bars cause the wheel to move JUST slightly. Enough for it to cause lean. That plus the gyroscopic effect help a bike turn. The gyroscopic effect also keeps the bike from falling over.

  • Thanks littlec916

  • littlec916 is right, counter steering is the only way to steer precisely when going fast.If you are taking a left bend quickly you would very slightly PUSH the handle bar AWAY from you(hence the term counter steering),you never pull on the right handle bar to steer left as this tends to unbalance you.

  • try it on your peddle bike it works the same, turn right push left

  • Actually on a motorbike it's the other way around.. It's the lean which causes the handlebars to turn slightly. Really, the only reasons why your hands need to be on the grips are to control the gas and breaks, support your weight, and to keep you from flying off the bike at high speeds. you don't move your arms to turn. At least not on a sport bike.

  • 100% true, some people tend to steer with the grips, i always tell them to steer with your weight, goes so much more smoother

  • nice video nail it man .lol

  • is it true that there is no speed limit on isle of man??

  • No,the whole island has speed limits except for the mountain road which is unrestricted.During the TT a lot of the island is unrestricted but that is for the racers only!

  • scary pace

  • should have said . right your all nicked..(Ha Ha)

still great fun.. just keep it save boys.

  • This should be an IMAX film!!!!

  • wicked pace man...

  • nice m8 im going there in february on my ducati with a few mates hopefully it will be as good as your adreniline-filled ride!!

  • excellent video

  • Nice mate but i'll sick to the dirt ;-)

  • dont you ever worry about taking all them risks of high speed......... i no i dont lol

  • Fucking cool...no speed limits

  • Sick Video, :) Fantastic riding!!! That far exceeds any road racing here in the states. Besides, we have too many cops with nothing to do other than write tickets for speeding. Damn, Wish I was there, I would love to experience riding like that first hand. I love the end......"And Relax" :)

  • lol this is how most uk roads are like im sure there is some roads like this in the us its a big ass place

  • Hey there, thanks for the response. Yeah, I know, Ive been to the UK a few times and love it over there. I guess its the people and the scenery that make the difference. :)

  • That must have been a nice sound track sat behind the SP1! See you there in 2008! AVE IT!

  • crazy!!!

  • No dude thats great thanks a lot!=)

  • Hey I just wanted to know what kind of bike this is? Its a great one!!!! And very nice riding!=)

  • gsxr 750 srad injection with a few mods, mtc exhaust, power module,k&n air filter, only got 10000 miles on it,the srads best feature though is handling, many people rate it better than the suzuki gsxrs that came out after this model.hope thats not too much info!

  • was that on mad sunday on isle of man?

  • no,about 2 weeks before,on mad sunday there is only one way traffic and it is mad, there are bikes everywhere but you cant always go as fast as you would like because it is so busy.

  • heheh , that was on the montain session. my dad raced on the isle of man circuit in 2004

    he was nr 1 rooky.

  • Terrific video, fantastic riding. I wish I had some mates that rode bikes.

  • great vid

  • haha, NICE. great riding, great vid

  • THANK YOU for sparing us from any mindless techno-pop garbage or even worse, gangster rap. The sounds of the bikes are the sweetest music of all! Great vid and great riding, looks like you had a blast. keep em coming.

  • Great riding that. Could you please tell me if it's the 600 or the 750? Much appreciated on any response :)

  • 750 mate,thanks for the comment

  • fuckn sweet

  • good film, take care oot there..

  • Thats heaven, its to bad Here in the states we are to afraid of having fun to have a good race like this. To those saying R.I.P there are two kinds of people on this planet, those that live life, and those that merely exist, wich are you?

  • I live life by riding all the time. Ride it like you stole it. lol :)

  • Awesome video, man!! What an amazing ride. You must have a custom-made seat to accomodate the elephant-sized balls you must have to ride like that - LOL! Thanks for posting and stay safe, brother...

  • AND RELAX - hahaahaha been on similar rides like that myself around New Zealand. AND RELAX - appropriate advice to the poor overworked adrenaline gland.
