Did you also know that Fred V & Grafix and many other artists hosted through UKF are considered within the drum and bass community, the justin beibers & david guettas of drum and bass?

Drumstep uses the same half step beat pattern as dubstep hence the common confusion in listeners that they are listening to dubstep. God does it fuck me off when people say, yeah that sub focus remix of hold on, such a good dubstep tune... it's halfstep!!!

Halfstep tends to feature many of the same dubstep bass and synth features but lacks breaks, and addition that would return it to D&B.

The whole dubstep genre ranges massively as does drum and bass but most tracks are classicly rolled out with a half step rhythm. with the Kick & the Snare being most promemnant. Tunes tend to be bass heavy with grinding synths and off key melodies
