Thinking about this song last night, it occurred to me that -- if I recall correctly -- on the flip side, they did a cover of "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing."
@JGATDLH -- On a whim and a bit of nostalgia, I remembered this song and typed it in...can't believe how thrilled I was to see it uploaded here! Thanks, soulfan! I knew the band, or some of them...can't recall the drummer, now. I lived in the Augusta area; I knew the guitarist, Rudy, as well as the lead singer -- whose name eludes me, now. I may have owned a copy but don't have it now. I remember they were on American Bandstand promoting this song and got good reviews.
My dad played drums on that track.......i would be keenly interested in speaking to you in depth about what this track means to you.......i run a blog dedicated to Augusta,GA. music........let me know......

This is another song fromt eh same writer/singer Roy Smith. The band was Roy Smith, John Wilson, Richard Hooper, and Jimmy Maples.
