Because a woman may not want to be pregnant or give birth. Adoption can't help you there and on that topic the care system has it's own problems. A woman could give any reason she likes. It's her uterus, end of.

My wife and l did adopt a baby girl in 1991, but to our great sorrow she departed from us at the age of 3 because of heart failure. As l said before; donot try to judge people you don't know.
