I live in Michigan and I'll admit some places aren't very clean. but you find that in every state. it depends where you go. I've found some of the most serene and beautiful places here where you can see straight through the water for what seems like miles. sure, if you go down by detroit its not so serene but if you head up north its like being in heaven practically. i couldn't imagine a greater, more homey place to live.
