The "Tele Pad" text is hard to read in this video even full screen at 720p, but I was able to make it out on my Blu-Ray copy of 2001 on my 60" HDTV. I also Googled "IBM Tele-Pad" and sure enough, someone else mentioned it in a review of the Blu-Ray version of 2001 on Amazon.com. I have a book called "Making of Kubrick's 2001" that called it a Newspad which is "a flat TV like device that could display any type of visual or printed material."

Please see my other video where I have effectively zoomed in
on the detail area by cutting out a 720p frame from
within the 1080p source frame. It may be a little clearer.
