any guitar have her's own sound . Height is important, yes, deffinetly. easlier to play and make some virtuousies. I'm does this bit different. but principe the same. just listen how and were. if You like it - It's Yours. That's it.
@sly130000000000 it's depends how strong or not You'll push on strings, soryy. of course. can beat by hummer as well, but it's not a way. thats why : feel and listen. again feel
This helps out a LOT. But- Is there any way of gauging how high the strings should set along the first fret ? I installed a new Nut (r2) and am so low on the fat E that I get buzz, yet too High on the High E .....I used sandpaper as spacer (shim) under the nut . Should a Dime slide between the first fret & string? or should it be more like a Nickle thickness at the first fret? ANYONE that can answr this plz do,I need some advice here. really. Right Now, I only have a thin Pic clearence .
i only need that "screwdriver" to adjust and thats it ??? ... i see that the screws of that thing are like ... to stuck out ... is it correct or not ??? ... ill make a video if necesary :s
i have an ibanez gio star and it doesn't have allen key adjustments on each saddle. is it different for floating tremolo bridges? and plus i want the strings down as low as possible to maybe like 3.2 for fast shredding and stuff.
@ihateskoolitsucks Hi! brand is for peoples who understand what is it, sorry. Any guitar You can and WILL play. Spanish without few strings or even Russian without one. Just do it or try

Any locking Ibanez trem I have ever seen has individual saddle adjustments, and I have seen shops charge as much as $100 to do this simple job.

i have a stratocaster i customed , i put a gibson sg signiture series neck on it.
problem is ive lowered saddles to the plate and its still not quite low enough.
what else can i do to lower it more at the bottom end of the neck, because the top part near the guitar nut is fine

A string height gauge and a radius gauge both bought online in America from a company called Stewart-MacDonald, who are luthier suppliers.
