Icelandic presidents reign over even fewer people than Alaskan governors, about 300,000. If it wasn't a state meeting, that's a pretty understandable forget.

lol! You're the first Icelander I've met on youtube. I think Iceland is a great place, and believe me, I wish I lived there now, but...I was just trying to be fair. When I was in Iceland years ago, I believe I read a story about a tourist getting their car stuck in some snow or mud and Vigdis Finbogadottir coming out of your presidential house and digging them out herself.
A down to earth attitude is something to be proud of, but it puts the encounter in a different part of your memory.

Yea, i really hope Obama wins, i don't want another warmongering lunatic in charge of America, as if Bush hasn't screwed things up enough as it is. No offense towards the American people though. It's just your leadership that i don't like.

So many Americans are into voting based on fear of abortion, "commies", that the big money that wants McCain stands a good chance of getting him elected by manipulating those fears, and now the new one of "black boogeyman".
Just having one person point out new information or a different perspective can calm alot of irrationality.
