What are the rules for the fencers' viewing the footage of the bout? How many times are they allowed to challenge or request the footage during the bout during the Olympics?

@audgepodge111 It works like tennis. At the start of a match (15 hit match, not 5 hit poule match) the fencers have 3 challenges each. If their challenge proves correct then they get their challenge back, if its unsuccessful then they lose it. So if you keep getting them right you can have unlimited challenges.

@Voiv there are actually only 2 noncorrect challenges in a 15 touch bout. that means that if the call is reversed then you do not lose a challenge. in a 5 touch bout or a segment in a team bout each fencer has only 1 noncorrect challenge
