I don't know. I asked my mom and she pulled out some of my dad's old papers but couldn't find any info regarding a county. I will definitely keep you posted on any info I come up with. We also have family in High Point, North Carolina area. There were four Harris siblings, 3 girls and 1 boy, Louise, Willie Mae, Fannie, and Calvin. My granny became Willie Mae Bennett, her sister became Fannie Hampton. I have to check to see if Louise married & what her name became.
My father was born in Lugoff SC...I am a part of the Harris family..my father was raised by his grandmother..her name was Carrie...Unfortunately I don't have much information to go on to trace back our roots...my fathers' name was Grover Harris born to Willie Mae Harris...I hope to see more of your documentaries soon...this is so interesting

What county is Lugoff, SC in? The family really didn't know much about its SC roots. Any information you can give would be appreciated.
